10.01.2022 UNPRECEDENTED (adj. never done or known before) ... is this to be the word of the year in 2020? In 2018 we were frequently hit with toxic (Oxford) and me ...too (Macquarie) and last year saw climate emergency (Oxford) and cancel culture (Macquarie) enter the English lexicon, but without a doubt the overused word this year has (so far) been unprecedented. But what, I hear you ask, has this got to do with Tuross Head Rural Fire Brigade? Well, we’ve never before experienced such a fire season as the last one, or had to work under such strict COVID-19 operational guidelines, nor operated from such a magnificent new Fire Station (our 3rd in 59 years). Why not pop up and see us in Drake Street on the Labour Day Holiday Monday (5th October) between 9am and 1pm. Brigade Members will be there to help you with any questions you may have about preparing for this, and future fire seasons, and avoid the UNPRECEDENTED.
