18.01.2022 ARDAC is a study looking at markers for kidney and cardiovascular disease in young people. It involves screening both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children and youth in NSW to detect early markers/risk factors for disease. The study commenced in 2002 and is now in its third phase.



17.01.2022 ARDAC stand for the Antecedents (markers) for Renal Disease in Aboriginal Children and Young Adults Study.* It has over 3,500 participants from across NSW some of whom were only 5-years of age when the study began 2002 and they are still involved. These young champions are leading the way in finding the answers we need for improved kidney health and better quality of life for our mob.
