We tell them to clean everyday to every 2nd day....here's why. 1st issue is Lash mites, we have all heard about lash mites, and how they love dirty lashes, But what about the effects of makeup? Oils? SETTING SPRAY & HAIR SPRAY!! This image is what happens when using setting spray daily and makeup, the chemicals in setting spray and hair spray bond the lashes together just like glue, it's extremely hard to remove even with washing, resulting in clumped together lashes, natural lashes being ripped out as they grow because they are stuck, snapping from the weight of the buildup product on the lashes, Leaving this client with minimal natural lashes, sticky extensions, and lots of damage Its important if you have eyelash extensions to wash your lashes everyday to atleast every 3rd day! If you wear makeup, wash off your makeup each day! If you use hair spray and setting spray Cover your eyes while you are spraying! Let’s talk about GROWTH. -... This is my clients lashes after 3 weeks as you can see, there are some lashes that are grown out which is why it is recommended to get fills every 2-3 weeks. Although there may be 40% of lashes remaining after the 4 week mark, your lashes are so grown out that almost all of the lashes would need to be removed which is why it would be considered a full set it requires more time and more work replacing the lashes.
