20.01.2022 As Quidditch season returns, we need to be aware of injuries such as concussions. From today onwards, the @quidditchaustralia endorsed Concussion Education course will now be $5 for unlimited access. We hope this will create more accessibility to all quidditch players, coaches, and volunteers #concussion #sportsmedicine #firstaid #quidditch

20.01.2022 Well.... would people prefer Bee Gees instead for CPR?

19.01.2022 For anyone who missed out talk last night, you can find a recording on our website: https://deadlysportsplus.com/quidditch-injury-prevention-ta

19.01.2022 After losing a 7 and a half months of coverage and training in 2020, we are coming back bigger and better than ever! We will be more self-sufficient for our clients and contracting work with more training equipment including various stretchers and projector equipment. Additionally, we will be stocking The Modulator first aid kit, which meets SafeWork Australia suggestions for kits. Along with a slow growth in DS+ merchandise.... Finally, I'm looking at creating some more e-Learning and face-to-face different sports! Looking forward to 2021! #firstaid #firstnations #blakbusiness #firstresponders #firstaidtraining #sport #sportfirst aid

12.01.2022 What does COVID-19 impact look like on DS+? Honestly, heartbreaking. I sat down today and updated my record of hours DS+ worked events. 2019 was a great year, an average increase of 78% from 2018 with our own clients and subcontracting. 2020 we were on track for a 35% increase on 2019. We hired our first casual staff member, preparing for our first time where we had multiple events on the same day. March 8th was our last coverage gig, and March 15 was our last subcontractin...g gig. The little hours from then on are training, mostly for our staff member. All we can do is wait until COVID-19 risks are reduced in Melbourne so we can start again. It's rough for a small business like us, but we will get off the ground eventually. #covid19 #firstnationsbusiness #blakbusiness #smallbusiness #firstaid #sportstraining #sports
