16.01.2022 YDAS - Youth Disability Advocacy Service is running a free leadership program for young people, aged 14 19, who identify as disabled, chronically ill, Deaf, vision impaired or blind, neurodiverse and/or having lived experience of mental health issues. The leadership program is open to young people in Victoria and is held completely online. Young leaders who take part in the program learn new leadership and advocacy skills, meet other young leaders, learn from well-known di...sabled leaders, and get ongoing leadership opportunities. Each young person or child is also welcome to bring along their sibling, partner, carer or any significant other person in their life. Carers are also encouraged to participate if they would like to.
