22.01.2022 *NEW TRAINING TOPS & NECK BUFFS* Working again with the great team at Indigo Wolf who produced our beanies - we have new training tops and neck buffs up for grabs. For the convenience of members there is a specific ordering page for each member to check sizing and order from - no need for the club to play middle man!... When ordering your training top you can add your player number to the rear of the shirt. We encourage all members to get on board and order a training top and neck buff(s). It is likely that masks will still be required when next winter season rolls around so we strongly recommend members order at least one neck buff. 21.01.2022 PRE-SEASON UPDATE: Hope you are all well and safe! If everything goes to plan with the 5 day lockdown finishing on Wednesday night, we will be starting our pre-season training this Saturday! Remember if you can get there early to help tidy up before the training session that would be greatly appreciated. Also if you have a friend interested in baseball and joining Deakin, bring them along to the session!... 20.01.2022 *WINTER JUNIOR COMP CANCELLED* With the recent announcements of returning to Stage 3 Restrictions by the State Govt the GBA have announced the cancellation of this years Junior Comp. While disappointing news, we are incredibly grateful to our coaches Brian Arnell and Russell Millard for their efforts again this year but also to all of our wonderful juniors and their parents for their commitment and endeavor.... The Committee will be using this time to put plans in place to make sure we come back bigger and better next season. Stay safe everyone

09.01.2022 *DEAKIN BEANIES* A reminder for members to pick up their beanies contact-free from 31 Golden Wattle Drive, Mt Duneed tomorrow between 8am-12pm. Adult beanies will be in a brown box while kids beanies will be in a brown bag. A sheet with members names will be there to check off when you have picked up your beanies.... Only those who have paid will be able to pick up their beanies and we ask members to consider picking up beanies for others and delivering to them.

08.01.2022 *NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING* We would like to announce the upcoming details for the 2020 Deakin Baseball Club AGM. The meeting will be held via video conference at 6pm on Tuesday 24th November.... Only registered members are eligible to vote at the AGM. To register your attendance please email [email protected]. All committee positions will be vacant and we are always looking for people interested in joining the committee to help our club continue providing for our members. 06.01.2022 PRE-SEASON UPDATE: We are excited to announce that training will start on Saturday the 20th of February 9:00am-11:00am, for everyone - we want to see both Seniors & Juniors attend this session. We will have the BBQ going so stick around for a feed and chat after the session. We will be back at our home ground of Deakin, if anyone is able to get there 30 minutes earlier to help set up that would be great. We really want to continue focusing on building a community feel at the... club this season. A part of this is getting as many hands on deck each week as possible. If you can spare 30 minutes of your time outside of games will be a massive help to all. Have a think about what you might be able to contribute to the club this season. See you all in two weeks! These beauties will be going for $30 each for an adult or kids size.... We need to make a minimum order of 25, so anyone wanting one will need to comment below and let us know how many you would like to order and what size.
