14.01.2022 We are excited to announce that Deakin Golden Key is teaming up with the INDIGENOUS LITERACY FOUNDATION for our Virtual Trivia Night on Friday 21 August! Donations are currently being accepted via the following link: https://makingadifference.gofundraise.com.au//DeakinGolden... In Australia, there is a large gap in literacy rates between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous youth and ILF aims to help close this gap by supplying culturally relevant books and literacy programs to Indigenous communities around Australia. Your donation can help ILF to deliver these important books and literacy programs, helping Indigenous youth to realise their potential. There is a menu of stationery items and you can choose specific items from this menu which you would like to donate. Via this google form, you will total the value of the items that you wish to donate according to the corresponding costs. Based on this value, we would ask that you would kindly donate the total value to the Deakin Golden Key Stationery Donations account (details in the google form). Your donation will be transferred from this account as a monetary donation to a charity in need of stationery resources which will spend the money on such stationery resources as you have indicated in the google form. 10.01.2022 It was a pleasure for us to travel to Brisbane this week for the 2020 Asia-Pacific Leadership Summit for Golden Key. It has been interesting to hear insights from many industry professionals into networking in the ever-changing digital age, and the importance of maintaining face to face communication. Our committee was fortunate enough to win the award for Best Ongoing Community Service Initiative for Golden Key in the Asia-Pacific region. It is an honour to be recognised for the effort we put into our stationery drive
