25.01.2022 A massive thank you to everyone who attended our Welcome Back to T2 drinks night yesterday. Great to see so many new and old faces!

25.01.2022 Watch DULC state patron, Brad Rowswell MP - Member for Sandringham. Speak on behalf of the many Victorians who are struggling or have sadly died due to the failures of the Andrew's State Government.

25.01.2022 Snowy 2.0 is part of the next generation of nation-building projects that will ensure Australia's reliable, renewable energy future! Well done and congratulations Tommy, a true Australian patriot!

24.01.2022 WE STAND FOR FREE SPEECH

24.01.2022 Typical hypocrisy from Labor and dishonesty from Daniel Andrews. The rule of law must apply to all. Well done to our State Patron Brad Rowswell for standing up to this!

23.01.2022 Great to have a successful AGM followed by a Q&A forum with Deakin University Liberal Club's state patron Brad Rowswell MP - Member for Sandringham. Special thanks to Brad for his stirring speech and for taking the time to be with us tonight. Despite the many struggles this year, it's excellent to see a thriving conservative movement alive and well on the Deakin's Burwood campus. Congratulations to the incoming executive: President - Luke Dalle Nogare Treasurer - Pantelis Lou...pis Secretary - Camila Rodriguez Vice President - Sam Colacino Well done all involved!

22.01.2022 Great to see so many DULC members and YLs join our State Patron Brad Rowswell MP - Member for Sandringham last night for the fourth annual St. Thomas More dinner. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to hear from IPA executive director John Roskam and religious freedom crusader Senator James Paterson on the important and topical issue of religious freedom.

21.01.2022 The right for Liberals and conservatives to voice their opinions freely and openly at our Universities should be protected and cherished. Thank you Bev McArthur MP - Member for Western Victoria Region for your support as we fight for academic freedom!

20.01.2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS

20.01.2022 If you can’t govern the party, how can you govern the state? Anthony Albanese, the NSW Labor assistant general secretary, speaking in 1994.

19.01.2022 The Deakin University Liberal Club affirms its commitment to #axetheSSAF. While ordinary services and activities on-campus are no longer running DUSA must act with integrity and scrap this unfair and burdensome tax on students.

19.01.2022 Terrible news! We wish Boris Johnson a speedy recovery!

19.01.2022 Good for Deakin University Liberal Club to be invited to Q&A. Great to witness first hand, despite claims otherwise, that the ABC is in no way 'independent'.

18.01.2022 The Deakin University Liberal Club calls on DUSA's bureaucrats to update the grading scheme for Trimester 1. The current scheme is unfair considering the ongoing Coronavirus epidemic and is not in line with the actions taken by other universities in the state. The current DUSA mob has proved time and time again to be a weak and unsuccessful group that does not care about the best interests of Deakin University students. It's time we had a truly representative student body that represented Deakin students, instead of one that merely supplies a new backpack and jumper every year. The Deakin University Liberal Club encourages all Deakin students to write a complaint email to: [email protected] or to submit a student complaint form via the university website.

17.01.2022 Well done to all those that went to Benalla and Euroa yesterday to support the amazing Steve Martin - Liberal for Indi. Wonderful to see such a strong turn out. Great work everyone!

17.01.2022 On this day 75 years ago, the Liberal Party of Australia was founded.

16.01.2022 Join the Deakin University Liberal Club for a chat with our state patron Brad Rowswell MP about the current COVID crisis in Victoria. Start time is 6:30pm. Zoom link will be provided closer to the event.

13.01.2022 Victorian's deserve better than what they're getting from Dictator Dan. Today the Liberals and Nationals will have moved a motion of no confidence in the government. Let's hope that some courageous Labor MPs will vote for democracy and jobs instead of the job of the Premier. If you’ve lost confidence in the Premier as well, add your name www.noconfidence.com.au

13.01.2022 Well done to Tamsin Lawrence from ACCI for penning this piece in the Australian on Jackie Lambie and Pauline Hanson's concerning failure to protect women workers!

13.01.2022 Fantastic news!

10.01.2022 How good is The Queen?!

10.01.2022 It was a fantastic evening last night on Spring Street for the Deakin University Liberal Club. We were very fortunate to have DULC state patron and the Shadow Assistant Minister for Education Brad Rowswell MP - Member for Sandringham give us a tour around the Parliament of Victoria. Fantastic conversations were had particularly about the disastrous births, deaths and marriages registration bill, allowing people to change the sex recorded on their birth certificate on a 12-month basis simply through self-selection. It was great to also have the much loved Bev McArthur MP - Member for Western Victoria Region and David Davis MP join us during the tour. Many thanks to all involved!

10.01.2022 Today we celebrate the 250th anniversary of Captain James Cook's arrival in Australia marking the creation of this great land we live and prosper in today

10.01.2022 Stand with Scott. Vote Liberal tomorrow.

09.01.2022 Deakin University Liberal Club President Luke Dalle Nogare joined Rita Panahi, Cory Bernardi and Chris Smith on #Outsiders last Sunday morning to discuss the recent attempted assault on free speech and academic freedom on both Deakin campuses. Campus conservatives deserve better!

09.01.2022 Our thoughts go out to Peter Dutton and his family. Godspeed!

08.01.2022 Thank you Senator O'Sullivan for supporting students during this difficult time and calling to #AxeTheSSAF.

07.01.2022 [Somyurek] has spent these last 3 and a half years becoming a better man than he has ever been...and [he] will do an outstanding job... Daniel Andrews, 19 December 2018

06.01.2022 We're #backingboris! Only Boris Johnson and the Tories can move the UK forward and deliver on the people's priorities.

04.01.2022 The evacuation of people (and pets!) from #Mallacoota, Victoria, has continued throughout the day with the first group of evacuees now on their way to Western P...ort in MV Sycamore and more being welcomed on board HMAS Choules, which will set sail for Western Port this evening. #AustralianNavy #OurCommunity #OpBushfireAssist #AustraliaBurning

04.01.2022 Dan Andrews' VICTORIA: Protest YES - Fishing NO The hypocrisy of it all is pathetic!

04.01.2022 GREAT to see the indefatigable Bev McArthur MP - Member for Western Victoria Region rallying behind rural and regional workers in support of native timber logging. This FAILING Labor government has no regard for those living outside metropolitan Melbourne and has completely sold themselves out to the GREASY Greens and the TOTALLY IRRELEVANT Animal Justice Party!

03.01.2022 Bent double, like old beggars under sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs, And towards our distant rest began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots,... But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of gas-shells dropping softly behind. Gas! GAS! Quick, boys!An ecstasy of fumbling Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time, But someone still was yelling out and stumbling And floundring like a man in fire or lime. Dim through the misty panes and thick green light, As under a green sea, I saw him drowning. In all my dreams before my helpless sight, He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning. If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace Behind the wagon that we flung him in, And watch the white eyes writhing in his face, His hanging face, like a devils sick of sin; If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues, My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori. -Wilfred Owen

01.01.2022 If you cant govern the party, how can you govern the state? Anthony Albanese, the NSW Labor assistant general secretary, speaking in 1994.

01.01.2022 In March earlier this year a Latrobe Valley Magistrate court handed down two $1 fines to an activist who was found guilty of removing an identifying ear tag from a goat she stole and not having a Property Identification Code for her home that housed numerous farm animals in nappies. Not only does it send a message to activists that breaking biosecurity law is no big deal, it also wastes taxpayers money in bringing the case to court and wastes valuable police resources and t...ime. We need to make an example not a joke of these crimes! https://www.weeklytimesnow.com.au//d1e59597b470c166b192802

01.01.2022 A huge congratulations to the member for Chisholm and our new local member Gladys Liu on her outstanding maiden speech. It just shows that Australia really is the land of opportunity! Well done Gladys!
