25.01.2022 Really hoping to see heaps of members tomorrow at our first coffee and cake of the tri. We’re being a bit different and starting at 1:00, see you there.

24.01.2022 Hello all! Just a quick late night post. Congrats everyone, we're officially halfway through the week, and we're also just over a week away from intra-tri break. A lot of you will probably be getting ready to submit assignments right now and we're so proud of your resilience. We know that online learning is tough but just do the best you can, it's all anyone can ask of you. ... As mentioned yesterday, a lot of you were interested in the online trivia, so we're posing a question to you. When would you like us to hold it? During intra-tri break? When uni comes back? A weekend? During the week? It's completely up to you guys. Just let us know in the comments below when you would like us to have it. As always, be kind to yourself, stay strong and reach out if you're struggling.

23.01.2022 Hey everyone, welcome back! I hope everyone is feeling refreshed and ready to get out there and smash it this Tri. We have some great events coming up for you, not only our mindfulness training soon, but Harry Potter trivia and our coffee and cake afternoon teas as well. Watch this space for more info and more events.

23.01.2022 We’re getting closer to our first coffee and cake of the tri. Come and join us at the estate on Thursday afternoon and get to know everybody over a cup of coffee and a bite.

19.01.2022 Hello everyone! Just a quick little post to let you all know that from tomorrow onwards we will be adhering to a posting schedule, so expect to see more of us on your feed! We will be posting on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If there is anything you want us to post shoot us a message on here, or even in our emails and we'll put it in. ... We also want to thank you all for your responses to our email a few weeks ago, and it seems like a lot of you were interested in an online trivia night and even having some guest speakers do a talk for those who are in their last year. We have taken all of your suggestions on board and will be implementing them shortly! We want to thank you guys for sticking with us though these hard times; your support has not gone unnoticed. We love and appreciate you all. Here is a quote that I think is quite fitting right now. Speak to you all tomorrow :)

13.01.2022 We Aren't Dead, but We Are Sorry Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologise to all our members. We had plans of grandeur for this year to improve engagement and bring our club back to its former glory, but we all know how well that went. There are no excuses for our glaring absence. Please understand that we are all just people and students like you. Unfortunately, we didn’t adjust as seamlessly to online learning, unemployment and general low motivation as well as others ...may have. All this being said; we want the club to continue. If you wouldn’t mind, we would love some help from our members. From you. Tell us what you would like us to do during this time. Do you want Zoom trivia, or movie nights? Maybe a book club? Or perhaps some helpful Facebook posts about mindfulness, meditation or productivity? Help us deliver events and content that is directly focused on you. Going forward we are going to try our best to be more present on our social media; sharing posts and helping our members through this time. If, for any reason, you need help or guidance, feel free to email or message via the Facebook page. We will try to be here for our members as best as we can. We hope you’ll join us in making the club last another year. Sincerely yours, The Executive Team Xo.

11.01.2022 Good Evening Everyone! Tonight, we are doing a book review post! For our first review we have chosen Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***. Now, you’ve probably seen the book posted all over Instagram, but what is the book actually about? Well, Manson provides us with his life doctrine talking us through his unique views on happiness, values, suffering, failure and death.... While dealing with slightly depressing subjects, Manson provides fresh perspectives on certain aspects of life that are brilliant for evoking thought. Perhaps our favourite thing about this book is the way Manson walks us through real historical events/figures and uses them as lessons to reinforce his ideas. Not only is he consolidating his point for you, but he’s also providing you with potentially new and impressive facts to pull out on your friends and family. While its important to remember this book is just one person’s opinion, it is amazing for sparking introspection and helping you realise your values and potential, especially while we are once again spending so much time alone. To conclude, this book is a quick and interesting read that we recommend. If anyone would like to contribute their own book review we would love to receive your review through direct messages and it can be used for future post! Thanks for the read and stay safe everyone!
