24.01.2022 As a photographer my true passion is botanical photos, then landscaped. When I was studying 17+ years ago, I spent hours at the Adelaide National rose garden. However I ended up a wedding tog... today I made an hour spare, picked some flowers and created art, this idea has been in my head for years. Proud to say I actually have grown these flowers as well. 11.01.2022 This is the lovely Ronda, I was honoured to take her portrait along with the many others for the AIPP Reflections in 2015 - 2017. Ronda is from Mannum South Australia. Her portrait was one selected for the South Australian Exhibition, upon telling her this exciting news she was extremely, humbled, overjoyed and amazed. I received the most beautiful letter from her. She took her family to the exhibition, being able to explain what role she had in WW11. That history has now been shared and preserved for future generations. A beautiful lady in so many ways.

01.01.2022 Ninety-three-year-old Ian Prior stands proudly in his suit and medals looking straight at the camera. He was an 18-year-old mechanic from Victoria when he enlis...ted in 1943, and went on to serve in New Guinea, Morotai, the Philippines, and Borneo. You had two choices really, he said of that time. You either joined up, or you got called up, take your pick. So I joined the Air Force. I wanted to join the Navy, but they said I was too small. The Air Force didn’t object, so I became a flight mechanic. Prior is one of 6,500 Second World War veterans who were photographed by more than 450 professional photographers from around the country as part of the Reflections: honouring our WWII veterans project by the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP). The largest photographic project ever undertaken in Australia, Reflections started in 2015 and took two years to complete. The portraits have been donated to the Australian War Memorial to be displayed as part of a special photography installation in the Second World War galleries. https://www.awm.gov.au/articles/blog/aipp_reflections
