13.01.2022 V I V A S T K I L D A I did this illustration at end of last year when I was entering a design competition for St Kilda Fest 2020. Needless to say, I didn’t win. But I had so much fun drawing this as St Kilda holds such a special place in my heart It was not only my home for the last 3 years, but also where I used to go for summer drives with the girls when I first got my P’s, where I learnt the meaning of a good ol Sunday sesh (and boy were they fun!), where y...ou would meet people from all over the globe (mostly either tipsy or hungover) and where Melbourne would suddenly burst into life come September (right now!) with colourful short skirts and buzzing cafes and bars. Seeing this print today made me super nostalgic for St Kilda and everything that it represents, especially with everything that is going on.
