16.01.2022 This hen has found her perfect nest site behind the horse feed bins. I'm guessing she likes the spillage when food is being mixed up and thinks her chicks (when they hatch) will like it too!

14.01.2022 Just poured some beautiful liquid into jars to make Lilly Pilly Jelly. Lilly Pilly's are a native Australian tree with beautiful pinky coloured edible fruit. We are lucky to have one growing on this property which I picked off. 10.01.2022 I am SO SORRY everyone. I have now just been told my organiser/transporter cannot deliver atm due to transport breakdown issues. I am devasted for you all, I spent a lot of time on getting this organised as the first run with him had gone so well. I know you all were getting prepared for girls as I was. Please accept my sincerest apologies, I am devasted for you and the 75 hens ordered. I have now messaged everyone individually hopefully. Update; he may be back on rd from mechanic Thursday but I won't organize potential deliveries until I have.
09.01.2022 We are very lucky with some of the wildlife we get to see here. Son Hayden came to tell me he found a turtle laying eggs. She had finished and on her way when I got down there. An Eastern Long necked Turtle. Near the dam that had been bone dry since we moved in up until just a couple of months ago when it filled. Now it is teeming with insect, frog and turtle life, and gets visited by the odd wild duck since Hayden has his decoys in.
