13.01.2022 Grace fills the impossible gap Deb Peacock You might recall a time when you needed to show up to something that was too much for you, you felt beyond your abilities or it was beyond the resilience you felt you had. Then, you took a step of faith, entered in and you came away knowing God’s grace had come and filled the gap. We can trust him and his grace for us when we know we must face and walk through things that are too hard and beyond us. If he has led us to it, he provide...s the Grace needed to traverse it and to traverse it well. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! 10.01.2022 God is releasing strategy. Don’t disregard the simple strategy. Deb Peacock Over and over again I’m seeing God giving the practical steps people need and he is keeping it simple. It seems so simple some are disregarding it because their struggle or issue seems too long difficult and complex to be solved by something so simple. But remember: God’s power on anything means it is enough. Actually it will be more than enough. If he is giving you the step to take, the instruction, ...the strategy, it doesn’t matter what it is, it is right and it is the best. It will take some humility to accept that a simple strategy will be what is required as the solution. Take a moment to admit to him where you’ve forgotten the enormity of his power and dismissed his direction or instruction and embrace how good he is to give you something you can work with, something within your capacity, within your grasp, within your capabilities. He is that good. Come Holy Spirit and release your power on those who obey your direction that they would get to see you at work. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! 08.01.2022 Grace exceeds your hopes Deb Peacock The grace God gives us is reflective of himself because it is from Him, it is His. So, it is immeasurable. It is abundant. It is pure. It is good. We were made to live in it. We were made to live surrounded and full of his grace. Grace is what the world and everyone in it needs.... When Moses went to God to beg his forgiveness for the terrible behaviour of his Israelite people, he hoped God would spare their lives. He knew who God was, knew his might and power and he understood the gravity of their actions; so he just hoped for enough reprieve to stay alive. God responded by saying, I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you. Exodus 34:10 God is so gracious to us. We just need to come to him, acknowledging where we are, what we have, where we are in need and he responds in ways that are well beyond what we hope for. Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.
