08.01.2022 Thankyou Amanda for letting us Share BEEF STROGANOFF 750g sizzle steak, cut into strips... 125g butter 1 medium onion, diced 500g small mushrooms, sliced 1 dessertspoon Field Mushroom salt Pepper 2/3 cup water 2 beef stock cubes 2 tablespoons tomato paste 300ml carton sour cream Melt 60g butter in very hot pan Cook steak, quickly, until browned then remove from heat and set aside Add remaining butter and add onion. Saute until lightly browned Add mushroom and saute until tender Return meat back to pan with pepper, water, stock cubes and tomato paste and Field Mushroom salt and stir well Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer covered for 5 minutes Gradually add sour cream to meat mixture, stirring until mixture boils and starts to thicken Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes Serve with rice or pasta https://Flavourista.com.au/DebbieTurner
06.01.2022 This has to be one of my Favourite recipes ever they don't last long in our house Cheese Biscuits eat these warm and quick they don't last Long What you need:... 1/2 cup milk 1 egg lightly beaten 2 cup cheese grated 1 cup self-raising flour (or Gluten Free Flour) 3 bacon rashers diced 1 onion small diced 1 tablespoon of Flavourista spice or as many as you wish How to make it: Preheat oven to 200C. Combine egg and milk in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Line a baking tray with baking paper and drop large teaspoons of the mixture onto the tray. Wholegrain Bread While multigrain bread is white bread with grains mixed in, wholegrain has grains (and often seeds) added to wholemeal flour for extra nutritional value. Wholegrain breads (including rye and sourdough varieties) have up to four times the fibre of white breads, making them one of the healthiest options.
03.01.2022 For those peeps who have to be careful with Processed meats worth reading Processed meats, like ham & bacon, are a hot topic for us, cause well, they're a staple in most households with the good ol' ham sandwich and bacon & eggs on a Sunday, but sadly, the preserviatve used (250) can be really bad for us! This preservative, once in your bloodstream, has the potential to be highly carcinogenic. You can also add to the potential list of side effects shortness of breath, asth...ma, lack of energy, dizziness, headaches, rapid pulse, nausea, vomiting, hyperactivity, behavioural issues and is prohibited in foods for infants and young children. Sounds nasty huh?! The media picked this up a few years ago, but of course nothing changed with the food industry and it's still consumed daily by most people. We talk about this preservative in our course which launches tomorrow! These days smallgood manufacturers are starting to get on board with our needs and provide products that are low, or sometimes totally free, from nitrates/nitrites, but as always, we still need to be super careful and not rely on what’s written on the front of the packet. Here is one great alternative we can get in Tassie from Boks Bacon. They also deliver to certain areas around Australia and a lot of IGA's have it too, but seriously, ask around.
