25.01.2022 It’s been a busy year so far with 21st Birthday celebrations This is my lovely niece Georgia who recently joined us for my Sons Birthday Little did she know she was also surprised to receive her Caricature gift from us I absolutely loved creating this one and adding all the pretty girly things as Georgia is our only niece . 25.01.2022 I’m still working on my bird series but have diverted to these wonderful old vintage cars for a bit & perfect for Father’s Day gifts too This one is a 1920’s Ford T3 . My lovely Husband took some photos in Rockhampton a while back & I’ve finally got around to re creating these yesterday’s hero’s in water colour . Original is A4 on high quality 216gsm paper . My son had flights booked to celebrate with him & things changed very quickly with the Covid19 restrictions and lockdowns. My son had to cancel his flight & couldn’t be there. 01.01.2022 Since the beginning of my bird series I’ve had a few requests to paint the stunning Black Palm Cockatoo. I didn’t know much about this amazing bird at first, however after lots of research it was easy to fall in love with this Magnificent Bird! Here in Australia, he is found in the rainforests & woodlands of Cape York Peninsula. He was certainly more work than anticipated and put me to the test with tonal values & detail in all those feathers!
