25.01.2022 Good morning, I have crinkle mats on the go this morning. Bright and cheery ribbon taggies with crinkle material in the middle. It makes a lovely crackly sound when you grab it. Available in my Etsy shop. Deb xx

23.01.2022 Good morning, There’s lot of changes happening in the world and many lives have been turned upside down by this awful Coronavirus. We’re going to have to be a bit more creative with our entertainment and try to turn each day into a new learning experience. I’ve found some great Felt stories designed by Kate at Felt Board Magic and I’ve made a few of them. They include the felt pieces and a story or song to go with it. Felt Boards are sold separately and I have included a bag ...of felt scraps free with each board. They are a mix of wool and acrylic and are all shapes and sizes - because I am a hoarder and can’t bear to throw fabric out. You can use them as they are or cut them into other shapes. 15.01.2022 Good morning from sunny but chilly Cairns, Is it cold where you are? I’m not sure if it is sandwich weather but I made a felt salad sandwich. I also added some vegemite and peanut butter but I’m not sure about them. The spread is a bit thick for my liking. Stay safe, Deb x

14.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone, I was a bit quiet last week because I decided to tidy my sewing room instead of sewing. I spent a few days sorting crafty bits and pieces and putting them into bags, taking photos and listing them for sale. I sold quite a bit too which was good, however I look around the room and can’t see any difference. I suppose I’d better keep sorting. What did you do last week? Deb xx

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, I’ve just realised how long it has been since I posted anything. I’ve been busy in the garden and it’s looking good. We found a collection of orchids that had been put around the side of the house and forgotten and we repotted them too. How can you forget you have orchids?? 05.01.2022 Hi everyone, I’ve been away visiting our grandchildren and had a lovely time. I started teaching the girls to sew but need much more time with them. I can’t believe how easily they threaded the needle. Were my eyes ever that good?? I made this sensory and activity mat last week for a little friend. I loved how it turned out. 04.01.2022 Good morning, How are you coping with isolation? I’ve been spending a lot of time in my sewing room. I made over 90 masks for the residents of the Aged Care where Mum and Dad are. We’ve been having window visits every few days but it’s not the same as sitting with them and having a cuppa. I love these teethers I made. Sensory bunny ears can be in the wash and the crinkle taggie can be attached for something different. I’ve made lots of these with different fabrics and eithe...r minky or towelling.
