We are fortunate in Australia that we have a democracy that means Governments are held to account by an opposition. We will always stand up for the best interests of Queensland.

13.01.2022 Thank you Julian Simmonds MP and Maddy for sharing and understanding the need for support after the tragedy of losing a child - thank you for using your position to do something about it.

12.01.2022 Today we as Australians will stand together along side our service personnel and veterans and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping missions. Tragically, over a century of service more than 102,000 Australian men and women have lost their lives for us. Originally known as Armistice Day, today marks the day the guns of the Western Front fell silent on 11 November 1918 at 11am. At 11 am across our cities and country towns we will remember all our fallen service personnel and the sacrifices they have made including the many locals who have served. To those of you who have served in our Defence Forces, Thank You.

06.01.2022 With no official ANZAC Day service this year the Kingaroy-Memerambi RSL Sub Branch held a very special Remembrance Day service for the Kingaroy community this morning.

05.01.2022 Queensland has the worst unemployment rate in the nation with even locked-down Victoria having a lower jobless rate. Labor have no plan and no Budget. Only the LNP has plan to create 150,000 jobs and lead Queensland out of recession.

02.01.2022 There are many quiet achievers in the Nanango Electorate. One of them is Morris Winter (centre) who volunteers his time on lots of community groups, including as Chairman of the Kingaroy Community Police Consultative Committee. This important group celebrated it's 30th anniversary and is one of the longest-serving police liaison committees in Queensland bringing together our local police and groups such as South Burnett CTC Inc, Child Safety, BIEDO, Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce & Industry, QFES, South Burnett Regional Council, Kumbia Neighbourhood Watch - Rural, SES, Kingaroy Shoppingworld and my office. Thank-you Morris for all you do!

01.01.2022 Tonight Kingaroy - Help celebrate and recognise those in the Agricultural Industry

01.01.2022 Queensland is a resources State that relies on the jobs, royalties and the community contribution from the resources sector. Was a pleasure to be a guest of the Queensland Resources Council today for their annual lunch. The resources industry contributed $4.5 billon into the Qld Government coffers last year, this money must be spent on furthering our regions, building the hospitals, roads and schools that we deserve. In particular, I would like to see the State Government match the LNPs election commitment to upgrade the Peak Downs Highway and approve New Hope today so those people facing a Christmas without a job can have certainty.
