24.01.2022 Day 5 of the transition from family to branding feed.... and today is a feature of one of my all time favourite shoots! Original post as follow... Client profile today is the delightful @ms.lova_tan. An incredible business woman, and a Uber stylish one at that! Lots of fun with a drive to succeed, I was fortunate to be the photographer of choice for the launch of her business two years ago, and continue to work with her team with product photography as each new product is launched. With a relocation to Sydney Ms Lova now works with the powerhouse of a photographer rockybatchelor for campaign photography.

18.01.2022 I'm delighted to share a video that I recently made for Victoria Point Shopping Centre highlighting the amazing support that the organisation The Men's Shed offers to our local community of men who have recently retired from the work force. If you have a man in your life who could benefit from social interaction with men of a similar age, have them drop by the centre and chat to some of the members this Fri & Sat... they really are a very entertaining and great bunch of guys to spend time with! Thank you to Victoria Point Shopping Centre for the opportunity to work with you on such an important cause.

16.01.2022 How did you translate your brand colours and voice from thoughts to vision? For me, I spent time Pinning colours and imagery that had an immediate impact on me, using images that represented the things most important to me.... I know branding is deeper than this, but for me this is where I started. This board represents what is important to me, the muted earthy colours, natural fabrics, home, beautiful interiors, hand drawn art, joy and classic vibes. 09.01.2022 What a week this has been! Video making for F45, product photography and editing for @poppyanddaisydesigns, product photography for @aogoodness, tech chat with @theshoegarden, meetings with potential new clients, welcoming new clients on board..... I recently 'closed a door' on my part time job to take a leap of faith and turn my photography business into a full time venture. I knew that by closing that door, scary as it was to say goodbye to that income, it would open... the door to new opportunities... I didn't realise the change would be quite literally overnight. To say that I am full of gratitude is an understatement. 08.01.2022 Did you know that these beautiful necklaces are meditation beads and that you can rub oil into them to help you meditate? I didn't either!! I was very zenfully brought up to speed on my shoot with the beautiful @cocoroseeco and now I see these gorgeous pieces of jewellery, made by the ever so talented @connectwithkaya, in a completely new light. 07.01.2022 Brand photography has been creeping into my portfolio more and more of late, so much so that I have decided to make it the main focus of my business ( more to follow on that soon!) Last week I had the pleasure of spending the morning with the beautiful The Shoe Garden capturing photos for their new website. Brand photography doesn't have to be heavily posed and styled, it can spontaneous and full of emotion... exactly how I love to shoot! 05.01.2022 In recognition of 'World Photography Day' I'm going to quote a wonderfully powerful statement from the ever so amazing The Brand Stylist about the necessity of photography for your business... 'Think BIG, images are the lifeblood of your brand and you need a steady stream to bring your business to life' It is with this in mind that I have created the 'Visual Concierge' package.... it's not quite ready to launch into the world yet, but I will say that it is totally amazing an...d I am REALLY excited that months of planning will finally come to reality! 04.01.2022 Day 3 of merging accounts and a reminder of how flexible PNG files are! PNG files are commonly used to store digital photographs, and images with transparent backgrounds.... BUT what does this mean? The image above, of the beautiful yellow vegan toiletry bag was originally shot balancing on a Tupperware dish in a white light box (& turned 90 depress clockwise). As part of the editing process I used Photoshop to remove the background completely then saved as a PNG file wi...th a transparent background. This has given @longhaulspa the versatility to rotate the image, drop it onto an off white background and overlay text in the negative space created. PNG files give you the flexibility to repurpose the same product image over and over again by simply changing the background and the text message... and we all like multipurpose imagery! PNG files will be part of the new photograph package that I am currently creating and planning, every product based business (who is serious about content creation) needs them in their arsenal! #brisbaneproductphotography #highendproductphotography #productphotographer See more

Day 2 of transferring my branding stories into this feed... today Im sharing a shoot with the most talented @secondscoutau A fun day of shooting product and lifestyle shots for a new website and socials. We brainstormed and planned this day meticulously before even getting my camera out, we explored brand voice and target customers, we worked our image placement for the correct crop and format ... i.e website home page banner shot, square product page shot etc etc... All of which meant we hit the ground running on shoot day and maxed our time together and had fun with it too To follow is the original post from 4 weeks ago..deja vu heads up.
