11.01.2022 I am performing a "surprise wedding" tonight. The guests think they are coming to an engagement party but it's really a wedding. The party starts at 7pm tonight and I step on stage at 8:30pm to announce there is a wedding to happen. I just hope everyone has not had too much to drink otherwise it may be hard to control the guests. Having said that I do love a surprise wedding, so it will be fun what ever happens. Update you all tomorrow on how it goes.

11.01.2022 Yesterday I was privileged to perform a beautiful wedding ceremony for Kylie and Tim Mustow at Glasshaus in Cremorne. It's an amazing venue for a wedding. During the day it's a plant nursery but they can transform it into a great space to accommodate events such as weddings!! I wanted to share the before and after photos with you to show you the amazing transformation! Kylie and Tim had 100 guests to their ceremony which was very personal and included Kylie being given away by her gorgeous 11 year old son Baxter. Just gorgeous!!

05.01.2022 I have spent the afternoon doing my Marriage Celebrant compulsory OPD (ongoing professional development). I had backed off my celebrant work this year but I have come home reinvigorated to start winding it up again, so look out for me being more active on social media soon.

05.01.2022 I was at Chocolate Budda at Federation Square tonight having dinner when on the big screen came a marriage proposal. I looked out of the window to see the couple. She obviously said yes and then there was much celebrations from friends and strangers alike. On our way to the car I fond the bride in the middle of the throng of people, gave her my card and told her I am a Marriage Celebrant and I saw the proposal and at her wedding I will tell the story of how I saw the proposal. She took my card and said she would call me. She was thrilled!!!!! I love romance!!

04.01.2022 I have spent today at the AFCC annual conference updating my Celebrant knowledge including the new marriage equality laws and changes. Its great to keep up to date with the industry I am involved in. Back again tomorrow to learn more great stuff and get new ideas. When did you last update your skills?

03.01.2022 Yesterday afternnon I met a couple face to face for the first time as I have been dealing with them from their home in England. They arrived here at 11.00 pm Friday night for a 1 week stay in Australia. They have eloped to get married by me on Thursday this week in the Botanical Gardens. They are so cute and so excited about having finally pulled their plan off. On Thursday there will be them, their two witnesses and me at the wedding!!! I have the best job in the world. Who wouldn't love to do this for people. Seriously I love it so much I would do it for free. It is a blessing to be able to make an impact in somebodys life like that. Don't you wish you were me??? :)
