25.01.2022 I believe that personal stories are the fabric of our society and the experiences contained within are the clues to humanity’s progression from the past to the future. These stories provide insight into important and unique parts of our social history and I consider it vital to record these narratives for future generations. On that note - I started with my biography subject yesterday and am really excited about the project. She is a lovely lady with some wonderful stories and I can't wait to tell her life story.
24.01.2022 I'm loving the process of writing my biography subject's stories. I find myself immersed in her world and re-creating it through the written word.
22.01.2022 I've been to three writing workshops in three weeks and they've all been so great and so pertinent to my biography writing and my fiction writing. Had an amazing workshop with Natasha Lester, WA author - covered aspects of commercial fiction that I've never looked at before. I love learning and, no matter how much study you do in an area, there's always more to learn. Fantastic!!!

10.01.2022 Concurrent with writing a biography, I am roaring along on my novel with only 30,000 words to go, to have a full length novel. Then begins the editing process!! I've had some amazing inspiration this year, especially from successful WA authors, Natasha Lester and Rachael Johns. Can't wait to get to the publishing stage.
03.01.2022 I received some lovely belated feedback about my booked published at the end of 2014, 'Champions and Everyday Heroes: The 25th Anniversary of the Rottnest Channel Swim:' ‘I have completed 9 Rotto solos and this morning decided to open up the 25th anniversary book you authored. I just want to say what a wonderful piece of work which integrates so well the years of swimming history to and from the island. You made me feel very proud as I felt that I have been part of this incredible journey. It’s a story that needed to be told and you have done this excellently. ‘ B.C.
