22.01.2022 And, just like that my dance costume and leotard orders have been cancelled - understandable so. To cover my business costs, I am back to creating facemasks. (Virtual hugs to all businesses and families affected <3). I have been researching, creating and selling facemasks since March - and do a happy dance with every sale - much to the horror of my family!... As of midnight of our SA lockdown here, I ceased all delivers and drop-offs, so thank you for your patience. Now I'm back with non-contact pickups/drop-offs, and online payments by bank transfer or creditcard. While facemasks are not mandatory, they are required by some shops here and Dr Nicola thinks we should wear them. My non-medical re-usable 100% cotton double layered facemask, have comfy soft fine-spandex ties (longer lasting than elastic). My masks and ties are overlocked with double stitching and top-stitched to be long lasting. (Mine have survived with daily washing since April - I pop them into a pillowcase and wash together overnight). This style is $15 each, or 2 for $25. Pickup at Sheidow Park is very welcome. I offer $2.50 local delivery or postage. Or I part-subsidise the express-post cost, so it is $10 for you. More colours and styles are available. 17.01.2022 I felt very lucky to be able to photograph the High Performance RG session of the KaraKara Invitational on the weekend. The HP rhythmic gymnasts have missed their comps, states and nationals this year, so it was exciting to see their new routines for the 2021 season. Thank you KaraKara RG for the opportunity

17.01.2022 LOVED creating this! The neck ruffle is attached to a crop top worn underneath. There are inbuilt bikeshorts as the tulle would feel too scratchy. Designed so excess tulle can easily be trimmed away at the thighs and shoulders. Padded buttons instead of pompom. All because this talented athlete needs to move and do her thing! Now it makes babies stare in wonder and neighbours walk past and smile" - The older children and adults added my material to their yarn bomb display - the awesome idea of their craft group at North East Community House Inc (NECH). GOOD NEWS UPDATE - Today as a commercial business who supplies covid-helpful items - FACE MASKS - I am allowed to visit a post office to post your orders!! <3... For those who know me, my business and family have been deeply affected by COVID this year - like so many of you - (insert virtual hugs here xx). I have been researching, creating and selling facemasks since March - and do a happy dance with every sale - much to the horror of my family!
