25.01.2022 To all the people who have recently viewed my page, please accept my apologies for not keeping up to date. This year has dealt me many tragic blows. However, I will soon be back in action and will be posting news of my latest 'makes'.

21.01.2022 I had sixteen puppies to re home. Only two left!

21.01.2022 I have my last Airbnb guest this week. I then plan to re open my shop to sell my wares. Hopefully you will all come and buy your handspun winter 'Warmers', art for your walls, candles for ambience and Vintage Jewellery!

21.01.2022 We are moving! Fed up with the antisocial behaviour near our shop so we are re-locating to MANY 6160. (In the old Myer Building, Kings Square, Fremantle). We will open next Thursday. Trading hours for Many are Thurs- Sun 10-5. Hope to see you there, it's a great space with loads of lovely, unique shops.

21.01.2022 For my Law savvy FB Friends. Please give me your opinion? I recently sold my house. I had to obtain a Certificate from an electrician to say all current safety ...requirements were met. This I did. The buyer also had a building inspection done. The buyer has now found a sub-board in my old studio that, he has been told, is not RCD protected. The agent that sold the house is telling me it is my responsibility to rectify this 'oversight' at a cost of $600. I paid a qualified Electrician good money, in good faith, to gain a clearance certificate. The building inspector did not say in his report that anything needed to be done about this sub-board AND I had the Electricians Certificate of Compliance. So, I don't see how I can be accountable. I have dealt with real estate agents who don't know the law before and almost lost $20k but for the advice from a dear FB friend. Would love tho hear your thoughts. Thanking you in anticipation. Deb. 14.01.2022 Goodbye MANY6160. Hello 186 High St, Fremantle! We will soon be trading from my studio rooms at home due mainly to the fact that the Old Myer building is about to undergo major refurbishment. I will miss all my lovley friends from there but look forward to getting set up here. We moved home today and I have mountains of work to do to make this space appealing. At least it has great bones!

11.01.2022 I am having a MASSIVE Art clearance from my home Studio at 186 High Street, Fremantle. I cannot move for paintings and all have to go! These are unframed but matted and cellophane wrapped. Priced at $150 each. I have loads of smaller works for smaller prices.

10.01.2022 Debra Corbett Studio at Many6160 (in the old Myer building, downtown Freo) is open seven days a week, 10 - 5 until Christmas Eve. The space is now packed with unique retailers and well worth a visit for unusual gifts.

10.01.2022 STOLEN! This morning a dark, thin mean spirited 'woman' stole this hand spun, hand dyed Poncho from off the mannequin out the front of my shop. Please Fremantle residents keep your eye out and let me know if you see this local thief wearing it. It's NOT hers, but mine and took me over twenty hours to lovingly make! So disappointed in my fellow man.

08.01.2022 The countdown is on! Last BnB guests have departed and my shop is now my own once again.I have a couple of beefcakes coming tomorrow to help me move furniture and get set up. Thanks Mark McPhee and Dave. My first task will be to have an Art Clearance with 50% off ALL my original paintings, and I have loads!

07.01.2022 Yay! We have signage. Quote $300. DIY $0.00. I cut the letters out of canvas stuck them on to existing aluminium panels then sealed it all. Hope it lasts!

06.01.2022 I am really enjoying having the shop and it is wonderful to have customers return again and again. Thank you Susan, Jessica and Deb, to name but three. I have just taken this painting down to display in the shop. It is a view from Cicerello's in Fremantle and is a 1st prize winner!

05.01.2022 After a crazilly horrible few months, it's time to get back to business. When you start to feel chilly, come and see me for some hand spun, hand dyed, hand made woollies. These hand warmers were very popular last year and only $35 - $40 a pair. Lots of colours available:-)
