24.01.2022 Fitting a maternity bra works a bit differently to fitting an everyday bra. Early on in your pregnancy you may start to feel very sensitive while your breasts start to prepare for your new arrival. A maternity bra has double the amount of hooks compared to a normal bra. This allows you to adjust the back of your bra throughout the pregnancy and after the birth. Our fitter's top fitting tips: 1st Trimester - ... Your bra should be done up on the tightest set of hooks, very different to when you buy a normal bra. This allows you to loosen off your bra as your baby starts to grow. Post-Pregnancy - After birth, you will then need to tighten your bra again as your body starts to recover and return back to its pre-pregnancy shape.
