24.01.2022 Good morning, How are you coping with isolation? I’ve been spending a lot of time in my sewing room. I made over 90 masks for the residents of the Aged Care where Mum and Dad are. We’ve been having window visits every few days but it’s not the same as sitting with them and having a cuppa. I love these teethers I made. Sensory bunny ears can be in the wash and the crinkle taggie can be attached for something different. I’ve made lots of these with different fabrics and eithe...r minky or towelling. 08.01.2022 Good morning, There’s lot of changes happening in the world and many lives have been turned upside down by this awful Coronavirus. We’re going to have to be a bit more creative with our entertainment and try to turn each day into a new learning experience. I’ve found some great Felt stories designed by Kate at Felt Board Magic and I’ve made a few of them. They include the felt pieces and a story or song to go with it. Felt Boards are sold separately and I have included a bag ...of felt scraps free with each board. They are a mix of wool and acrylic and are all shapes and sizes - because I am a hoarder and can’t bear to throw fabric out. You can use them as they are or cut them into other shapes. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone, I’ve just realised how long it has been since I posted anything. I’ve been busy in the garden and it’s looking good. We found a collection of orchids that had been put around the side of the house and forgotten and we repotted them too. How can you forget you have orchids??
