Fruits with the highest sources of vitamin C include cantaloupe, citrus fruits, and juices, such as orange and grapefruit, kiwi fruit, mango, papaya, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and cranberries. 11) Reduce stress by taking care of yourself: Learning to relax your mind, and give yourself a break, is crucial for your mental and physical health. 12) Eat well: The evidence is that the most effective way to eat tryptophan-rich foods so that theyre absorbed by the body is to combine them with carbohydrates 13) Take supplements: As with 5-HTP, some studies have shown that it can be effective, but the results havent been consistent enough for it to be recommended by mainstream doctors. Tryptophan supplements are another option. 14) Get out into nature: Studies have shown that regular outdoor walks in the forest or along the beach can be an important way to lift your mood, increase your serotonin and fight depression. 15) Use a sun-lamp in winter: Light therapy can really make a difference. Even 10 or 15 minutes a day sitting by a specially designed lamp can be enough to give you that much-needed serotonin boost. 16) Stay away from drugs and alcohol: Just as supplements and antidepressants can help increase your serotonin levels, so recreational drugs and alcohol can deplete them. 17) Get treatment for hormonal issues: Many people can benefit from hormone treatment to ease the symptoms, including depression. As your hormone levels change, so your serotonin levels might rise. 18) See a professional: Therapists and doctors might be able to help you with therapy, antidepressants, or a combination of both. 11.01.2022 FREEDOM Freedom is what we all want. Freedom is what we are all chasing. We all want to be free from our Jobs, our toxic relationships, our obligations, responsibilities you name it, but, FREEDOM IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN CHASE because true freedom is the by-product of living an authentic life. The truth is the only thing were not free from is ourselves. Being free means accepting who you are in every moment, it means accepting yourself not just when youre at your best or ...at your highest, but when youre at your lowest too. Accepting yourself is all we have and when we dont accept the way we are right now were telling ourselves that - I will only accept the future version of me, a version that does not yet exist that is the quickest way to feel trapped in your own mind. So start by accepting your body as it is right now, not when you lose that 5kg, accept your capabilities when you stumble and fail not just when you accomplish something extraordinary. Accept your thoughts even the anxious ones. Recognise that your own mind is always on your side, let yourself feel the power of being alive right now. Being awake, Being in your body and focus on the positives, no matter what. Dont let yourself be broken down about what people think. Dont let the challenges of life bring you down let them bring you closer to your purpose. When you feel the true freedom youll give your best to the world. You know what you need to do to live the greatest and most meaningful life youre capable of living, so dont wait for something or someone to set you free. The only person that locks you in a cage is you. The only person standing in your way is you and the only person who can set you free is you. Juan Pablo Barahona
11.01.2022 Powerful ways of how to re-frame situations that are controlled by feelings.
11.01.2022 Repeat a mantra During a calm, relaxed time, make a list of positive sayings or mantras that help you calm down and return to the present moment when anxiety makes you feel panicked. Keep this list close to you so you can pull it out as soon as you feel the need.... Examples: This moment will pass and I will be OK I am safe and well These feelings will pass and things will be OK I know I can handle this because Ive overcome many tough challenges Everyone is safe and we will all be OK
09.01.2022 Real life is here and now. At this moment. The past has passed and the future is just a concept, we do not really know how much time we have left. The present is the only dimension where our existence really takes place and within which it is important to learn how to live to make the best possible use and be happy. 04.01.2022 Here Are 5 Ways to Start Practicing Gratitude: 1. Every day write down 3-5 things that you are grateful for. Expand your awareness so that each day you find 3-5 new things to be grateful for. If you want, you can also rewrite about things that you are beyond grateful for. Such as your kids, spouse or partner, parents, friends, siblings, clean, hot and cold running water, a roof over your head, etc. 2. You can choose to write about one thing you are grateful for and then ad...d five specific reasons why you are grateful for it. 3. Write a gratitude list from your future-self for all the things you are grateful for as-if it has already happened. 4. Make a collage, collecting pictures of those things that you are grateful for. 5. Practice gratitude at dinner time. Give each person an opportunity to share what they are grateful for that happened in their day. See more
