21.01.2022 Interview on comic books: creating, collaborating and publishing - with DARK OZ comics. Recently, DARK OZ creator Darren Koziol was interviewed by Uni SA (the University of South Australia) for a class with their 'Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Creative Industries'. Due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, the interview was filmed and recorded for students to view online (uploaded onto their course site), instead of attending in class.... 21.01.2022 Seriously awesome day yesterday at the Adelaide Comic & Toy Fair (I was so busy I didn't get to take many photos). Everyone was so happy to finally be at another event (and such a great event too) - lots of traders, punters queuing to get in, and a huge variety of collectibles!!! The ATM ran out of money (luckily late in the day) - there was so much to see and buy! I spent far too much (as always, ha ha - I would've spent more but I had to stay behind the Dark Oz table) and c...aught up with LOTS of friends and fans - it was great to see everyone there, meet some new faces too, and catch up with old acquaintances! DARK OZ comics sold well - I also sold a stack of laserdiscs, some toys, and 'The77' (a fantastic new anthology comic from the UK). The latest issue of 'Retro Sci-Fi Tales', issue #9, also had its official release and was well received (by those who hadn't already backed it on Kickstarter). Overall a brilliant event and lots of fun - can't wait for the next one!
