22.01.2022 ABC News published an article on the current situation at Jabiru and the positive strides being made in ensuring its future as a tourism capital for the Kakadu National Park. The Mirarr, as the traditional owners of the land, have been working with Dylan Brady, and Decibel Architecture since 2001 on a proposal to reinvigorate and reimagine Jabiru. 12.01.2022 As part of the Melbourne School of Design’s ongoing ‘Alumni Survey Series’, dB(A) conductor Dylan Brady was approached to put on a retrospective exhibition of his career so far in architecture. ‘Work: in Progress’ tells the story of Architecture as fundamentally journey driven. Perceived destinations like houses and skyscrapers are simply waystations, crescendos of madness and moments of stillness along the continuing path. The exhibition explores this journey through a series of sketches spanning two decades.

10.01.2022 We are super excited to announce that Decibel Architecture were recently chosen as the architects to design the new Broo Beer brewery located on a 15 hectare site in the regional hub of Ballarat. Central to the brief was to deliver a brewery that will strive to be both the greenest and cleanest in the world, utilising the worlds most advanced building technologies and environmentally sustainable processes. As a response to the brief, dB(A)s proposal makes extensive use of ...photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, a complex water treatment system and a roof that utilises cross-laminated timber (CLT).
