17.01.2022 Over the last few weeks we’ve been keeping a close eye on the evolving situation in NSW with COVID-19. Based on growing concern and the latest news at hand of a... ban, from Monday, of all non-essential gatherings over 500 people, we’ve had to face the hard reality that we cannot proceed with Under Western Skies 2020. We are a community, volunteer-run event, that only succeeds through the tireless efforts of countless individuals. It’s heartbreaking to come this close and have to make this call. We will be in touch with ticket-holders via email to let them know about refunds. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing volunteers, our fantastic sponsors, all the local businesses and organisations who support us in ways both large and small - and the dedicated festival committee. We are down for the moment, but we are not out. We will be looking ahead and finding an appropriate time when we can revive the dream and bring you the next Under Western Skies festival. We hope you will continue to support us - and hope we’ll see you there.

12.01.2022 Decimal Point was hard at work today, focusing on a number of key things ready for 2020. We are currently working away at refining the niche of the band’s music, and we have a nice selection of new songs getting ready to be performed for you! From artists like Thirsty Merc and Guns N Roses to Huey Lewis and Stevie Wonder, this year is sure to provide some great music that you don’t want to miss. We are also excited to announce that we will be starting to take on private gigs ...in 2020. We look forward to playing for all your parties, celebrations and other events/functions. 04.01.2022 Happy new year! Make sure to check out our next couple of posts... since it’s the new year, we’ve got a few videos from ‘Tunes on the Verandah’ for you all to kick start 2021! Thank you all so so much for your passion and support for the band in 2020. We are so appreciative for the love you have shown us during such a difficult year. ... 2020 was the year that our band solidified and became stronger. We shared totally new opportunities and experiences, laughed, put out our own song, met some amazing new musicians and friends, cried, hosted our very own live event, danced, and everything in between. While it was a learning curve for us all, we are grateful for everything that has been thrown at us. Most importantly, we couldn’t have done it without you. Decimal Point are so unbelievably excited for 2021 and all it’s many challenges and checkpoints. We have some fantastic ideas and new songs and covers ready to pump out as soon as we finish our break and get rehearsing. Happy Holidays, Happy New Year. Stay safe and celebrate with those you love. 01.01.2022 Decimal Point is back!! After a long break due to COVID-19, the band got back together for their first rehearsal in over two months. Here’s a little snippet of us polishing up Dancing in the Moonlight, working on our mix and atmosphere.... We’re also very excited to let you know we picked up two new songs as well, Bruno Mars’ ‘Treasure,’ and Stevie Wonder’s ‘Superstition.’ We can’t wait to start getting these up on the Facebook in rehearsals to come to let you hear. Can’t wait to be back onstage soon, thanks for all your support.
