21.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE PLEASE READ! We are absolutely gutted but have to close our doors again whilst we go into a state wide lockdown. At this stage we have no pre-enrolments for singing therefore as of now 1.54pm Friday 12th February 2021, we will be closed until Wednesday 17th February 2021. ... Providing the lockdown is lifted we will return Thursday 18th February. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON THIS PAGE FOR UPDATES. 17.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE - DECIPHER DANCE As you are all aware we are about to enter into our second round of Stage 3 restrictions, which means we have to shut our doors again until September 13th earliest. It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement, due to these restrictions and financial stressors we will NOT be able to re-open our doors in 2020. ... I did not make this decision lightly and it has been a stressful few months with many a sleepless night and tears shed. I feel for each of our beautiful students that will be affected by this decision and all I can say is - I am sorry. I have spent countless hours trying to create a return to dance plan that will be viable for the business and for my dance family and unfortnately it has just not be achieveable. This is NOT GOODBYE though. This is SEE YOU SOON. I plan to take this time to recoup, re-energize and come back STRONGER than ever in 2021. I want to take this time to thank each and every one of you. From out followers to our dancers, our dance mums to community supporters I am extremely humbled to know such amazing people. I want to thank my fantastic team of teachers and staff, over the last 8 years we have created something that is beautiful beyond words and without you it would never have been possible. I can only trust that in 2021 we will come back better than ever, ready to make new memories. I will miss my dance family tremendously and hope that you will keep in touch over the next few months and I will see your smiling faces in 2021. If restrictions lift towards the end of the year I plan on offering a one off dance intensive for the community along with a performance for all to attend to celebrate our return to 'normality' again, So lets all keep our fingers crossed for this to pass soon. 17.01.2022 WE ARE BACK!! Lockdown is lifting as of 11.59pm tonight! We will be returing to the studio - 57 Kitchener Street TOMORROW - Thursday 18th Feb 2021.... Please ensure that: - You are not symptomatic nor have you been near anyone that has or is suspected to have COVID - 19 -You have not visited a Hotspot area in the past 14 days - You have not returned a positive test result for Covid - 19 in the past 14 days. - You wear a mask at all times (other than when physcially dancing) - You sanitise and wash hands - Physically distance at all times We are ensuring that we: - Follow the above - Clean regularly - Keep up to date with current health advice - Create AWESOME dance classes for you to enjoy! Thursday classes will resume as normal. 16.01.2022 As you all know Covid has seen our business close its doors until 2021. With the easing of restrictions happening across Regional Victoria I had a glimmer of hope for our fellow dance schools, that they will be able to reopen and we could offer some workshops. Finallt bringing dance back to the community. However this was quickly taken away when we realised that dance has been categorised as a Gym. So we cannot open under current restrictions.... What a devastating blow for our dancers. Where they come to let go of their worries, socialise and learn an art form that helps them on SO many levels. My heart goes out to my students, other dance students and all dance studio owners. I understand that the job our premier is doing is hard and he is making the best decision he can in unprecedented times, but can I ask is we raise awareness that Dance is safe and is needed for the mental and physical health of MANY children/teens and adults and ask that we reconsider opening dance schools? This isn't about finanical gain its about offering an outlet to so many children in a time that is stressful and uncertain. 12.01.2022 We miss you & We will be back! With the restrictions slowly easing we are starting to plan our return to the studio. We don't know when we will be able to return and at this stage the earliest is looking like the beginning of Term 3 . ... We obviously want to make sure that when we return we are able to abide by the guidelines for COVID-19 hygiene practices so that we are protecting the health of our dance family & community, so we are currently exploring all avenues and educating ourselves on COVID-19 OHS for businesses. We miss you all DEARLY and cannot wait to return, but we will be doing so when it is SAFE for YOU. Your health and safety is paramount.
