25.01.2022 Can't help but love the Pantone Colour of the Year 2020 when it's so on theme with our own brand colours We can't wait to see where this colour pops up in design over the next year. Pantone say that Classic Blue is about 'Instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.'

A huge thank you to all of clients this year, it's been an absolute pleasure to work with you, launch your projects, and be able to support you throughout your business journeys. Our office will be closed until Monday 13th January 2020 so that we can take some time out for holiday magic, rest, relaxation, creative recharging, and planning for the upcoming year. 19.01.2022 We're super excited to announce that we'll be a vendor at The New Beginnings Fair in Sydney! "The New Beginnings Fair is a unique event that enables budding entrepreneurs and small business owners to meet & mingle with a selection of handpicked vendors whose speciality is helping startups and small businesses shine bright like a diamond." The fair is on Friday 2nd June at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney - come check it out :)

19.01.2022 We're keeping an eye out for resources for our clients during this time - today we have an update from Shopify. Shopify have made Automatic Gift Cards available for all plans and customers - giving your customers a way to support you now. Typically these are only available on Shopify and Advanced plans, not the basic plan. You can find out more information at the link below, and if you'd like a hand getting these set up for your Shopify store, just let us know!

19.01.2022 It's business as usual for the Deckhand team and we're here to help! With the world in a state of flux, we want to assure you that we are operating as usual and are here to assist as required. We are currently all safe and well, but each of our team members are in self-isolation and engaging in social distancing - to ensure their own safety and the safety of high-risk family members. Being a predominately remote business already, this means that our work schedules have remain...ed largely the same. We are, aside from the suspension of in-person meetings, business as usual. All current projects and any projects booked to commence, will continue as planned over the coming months. If anything changes, you will be the first to know. For those of you who are making transitions from offices to work from home, we are on hand to assist with setup of remote work communication tools for your teams (and training on how to use them!). We can also assist with transitioning your traditional business services to online platforms, so you can continue to work with your own clients during this period. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves, and your communities. It has been extremely heartwarming to see so many mutual aid groups, community initiatives, and local supports emerging throughout this time. Support your local restaurants as best you can as they all transition to takeaway only, wash your hands, and keep yourselves and others safe by social distancing. We're all in this time of flux and change together, so please don't hesitate to reach out if we can be of any help at all.

17.01.2022 It's been our absolute pleasure to design and build the new website for Oceanzen Bikini - an amazing Aussie business making gorgeous sustainable swimwear! Their new collection, Earthess, has just been launched to coincide with the new website. Each of their bikinis are made from fabric constructed using recycled plastic pulled out of the world's oceans - cute and nature friendly!!

15.01.2022 It's always a delight when a past client comes back to us with a new project! We've been working with Trish from Grace Interior Designs Melbourne to launch her new blog The Design Basics - home to Australia's buyable interior inspo boards! Trish breaks down popular interior design styles, explains why they work, and curates inspo boards for each style so you can pick up her favourite pieces with the click of a button! 03.01.2022 Our client Around The Table have officially launched - we've been super excited about this project from the get go! Their healthy and convenient meal kits are now available for delivery to participating schools and childcare centres, taking the hassle out of meal time, helping families connect, and supporting schools with fundraising opportunities!
