25.01.2022 Usually we would have some updates to share from Suppliers at METS. It is so strange to not be able to build on our personal relationships in person this year. We’ve locked in plenty of virtual chats and many of our suppliers have come up with other options to update us. Including videos like this one!

23.01.2022 We first met the team at Barton Marine Equipment Ltd a decade ago, a lot has happened in that time for both companies. Now in 2020 we are excited by this new opportunity and we look forward to a time when we can meet up in person once more. We see Barton Marine complimenting the brands we distribute, fitting into an area of our sport that is strong here in our region. As well as growing our range of industrial and classic options it is fantastic to be able to distribute another brand with such a rich history. It will take us a little bit to update our website with all the details and pricing, there is a lot to add! 11.01.2022 Barton Marine Equipment Ltd Maintenance Guide Blocks and mast sheaves use precise engineering and should be checked for potential wear and tear before you re-step the mast. Flush the blocks and mast sheaves through with fresh water if they have been exposed to the elements over the winter. If you are using a mild detergent to remove mould and mildew make sure it is ecologically friendly. Don’t use oil or grease as this attracts dirt and salt, which is abrasive. More tips at the link!

For those who have followed the DeckHardware journey for years, you will see a familiar name at the top of the score sheet. Aimee has not only been an ambassador for years, she was our runner at the Sydney Sailboat Expo. Aimee was a little lost after her injury keeping her out of sailing last season with a new boat.
