24.01.2022 Today we had the mx6 on the dyno. Running in the new engine and spending some time on the tune we have made huuge gains! Tomorrow is the 30xs turn. 7 days before we leave!

23.01.2022 A week out from loading day, the team are pushing to get both cars up and ready for the Bathurst 6Hour. "The cars look less complete than they really are" Team owner Declan explains. "We are on track to have everything perfect and ready a day or two early and the atmosphere in the workshop is better than ever." The cars have gone through another huge development stage over the xmas break and will turn up at Bathurst ready for a fight. We would like to thank our dedicated crew and all of our supporters for all help and encouragementso far. Updates will be daily from now until the end of the Bathurst 6hour.

23.01.2022 Declan Kirkham Set To Return! After a couple of years on the sidelines, 25 year old Declan Kirkham is set to return to driving at Winton Motor Raceway September 14 and 15. Running in 2ltr Sports Sedans as part of the Super Truck event, Declan will return to the helm of the Eunos 30x for the first time in almost 4 years. "I cant wait to jump back into the 30x," Declan explains. "Dad (Phil) has run it a couple of times like this and it performs pretty well. Ive been out of th...e seat for quite a long time so im just hoping I can get up to speed nice a quickly and have some fun in a great category." This is likely to be DKRs only event this year with a new car in the build that will debut during the 2020 season. 21.01.2022 A very constructive friday practice has left the team smiling. The mx6 showed great pace with a new car best of a 1.39.6. 3 seconds faster than the cars previous best time at Winton, putting us 3rd fastest in class and less than a second shy of first. The team are currently working to resolve a fuel pressure issue ahead of qualifying for today's 300km race.

21.01.2022 The guys at Vurgel Precision Automotive are doing a stella job getting the two mazdas ready for bathurst. With a new engine and gearbox in the build for both cars we are looking forward to hitting the mountain!

19.01.2022 The team are giving the cars a once over after a successful day of practice ahead of the Bathurst 6 Hour. Both cars are performing well with all drivers settling in nicely. A full wrap up of the day for each car to come soon.

18.01.2022 Remember the 323 we were building years ago?? Well we still have it. And yes we are still building it! Sure its been a while but you cant rush perfection. Perhaps 2019 is the year it will finally hit the track!

16.01.2022 Update! Both cars in at once with huge dramas. A fuel system failure for the Eunos 30x and a driveline failure for the MX6. The team got them both sorted in an almighty effort. We lost 40-50min. But we are back on track!

15.01.2022 What a team. After a day in struggle town, replacing the whole fuel system in the car and a radiator failure. The racestarted very well with Phil climbing up the order from last to second on the first lap. Unfortunately the car suffered a bent steering arm which lead to our amazing crew doing a frint end alignment during the race. Phil and Declan pushed hard in the wounded MX6 to come home in 3rd place. A bit of work to do tonight to be ready to go for the second 300km race tomorrow.

14.01.2022 Who remembers our Ford Fiesta XR4 Production Car? We sure do and we still have it! Could a return to racing for 2019 be the plan? One thing we do know is its certainly no production car anymore!

09.01.2022 The guys from Vurgel Precision Automotive are almost done. Waiting on a front guard to come back from paint. And the new gearbox is almost built. We are at Winton next weekend for round 2 of the Australian Production Car Series.

09.01.2022 In 2018. Declan jumped in this little rocket for some testing and a 1hr race after Bruce Henderson threw him the keys. The 2003 Renault Clio 172 was great fun. Perhaps some more laps in this are on the cards for 2019.

05.01.2022 Last weeks trip to Winton was a great shakedown for the 30x... but it didnt go back into storage... nope. Its gone to Vurgel Precision Automotive for some love ahead of its next outing... who will drive it? Where might it be??

05.01.2022 Well. We went a little quiet for the first half of the year. Flat out with work and family commitments. We have been blessed with a new generation of Kirkham with the arrival of Declan's son Elias Kirkham in December last year. Declan is set to return to the track after a lengthy break from racing very soon! More news to follow in coming days.

04.01.2022 After a successful warm up session. The 2 cars are ready for the Bathurst 6 Hour! Phil Kirkham will start in the MX6 while Michael Hopp will take the start in the 30x! Unfortunately after a minor technical infringement, the mx6 will be starting from the rear of the grid.

04.01.2022 We were at Winton last week with Phil Kirkham and Matt Lehmann cutting some laps in the 2ltr V6 powered Eunos 30X. The first time the car has hit the track after sitting for about a year. Very productive day with the 30x cutting lots of trouble free laps and spitting out some great lap times!

04.01.2022 Throw back to 2009 when then 15 year old Declan pedaled the Eunos 30x to a win in the Improved Production Vic Under 2ltr Championship?? In 2018, the trademark Orange was swapped for Blue and it is now driven by Phil Kirkham miximg it up with some pretty cool cars in the Under 2ltr Sports Sedan Championship.

02.01.2022 Dont worry. Declan has been keeping busy while not in the drivers seat! Trying his hand at navigating for Keith Cuttle in the Victorian Club Rally Series. After a few class stage wins and many podiums in 2018, the pairing are set to turn their luck around for their 2019 campaign.
