06.01.2022 There's a list in my diary of all the 'not so urgent' jobs to do. Stuff that bugs me that l need to chip away at. Rather than get totally overwhelmed by it, l allocate a job to a week in my diary. That way l will slowly get there. This week declutter some boxes in cellar.

02.01.2022 5 STEPS TO ORGANISED This is the first of a series of 'before & after' posts to help you through the declutter process. First up, junk drawer sorted! Our kitten Marshmallow loved the organised drawer! WHAT: Declutter essentials/junk drawer... HOW LONG: Allow 10-15 minutes WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Cleaning spray and a wipe, paper towel, containers for sorting and organising. STEPS 1 TO 5: 1. Clear a space on bench top/table top to sort items. 2. Find some containers/boxes to help sort items. 3. Remove all items from drawer and sort into categories, keeping 'like' items together, e.g. stationery together. 4. Declutter items you no longer need, use, that should be stored elsewhere or that are damaged. 5. Clean the drawer surfaces and put the remaining items back into the drawer, keeping 'like' items together. Use some storage compartments/containers to help keep drawer in order. Tip: Use your essentials drawer for all those items you need to keep within reach, e.g. keys, wallet, sunglasses, notepad, stationery, etc.
