16.01.2022 ALERT Changes in the Security of Payment Act (SOPA) legislation will take effect in NSW from TODAY. The amendment act, for Contracts entered into after 21st of October, has reduced the time period for payment to our valued subcontractors.... Payments to subcontractors are now due 20 business days after a payment claim is made. Previously, this was 30 business days. Decocorp Constructions Pty Ltd prides itself not only with good client relationships, but also subcontractor relationships, guaranteeing fair work is recognised and paid in a timely manner. We encourage all contractors to carefully review their contract terms to determine if they comply with the amendments introduced by the Amendment Act. 16.01.2022 This week we lent a helping hand to our friends at the Salvation Army Maroubra where we popped by to repair and make good areas that had seen better days. Our ever cooperative team repaired rotten fascia boards, installed new timber supports to awnings and laid a new footpath providing safer access between the community centres It was lovely to see the smiles of the staff, social workers and our trades, all very appreciative.... This project involved services enabling works, body protection upgrades, temporary widening of all access corridors and radiation safe make good. This was all turned around safely and ahead of programme allowing HIS to book-in patients sooner. Decocorp. was engaged to deliver concept, planning approval and construction services for one of Sydney’s largest compounding facilities. This 3 stage project included new state of the art labs, integrated administration spaces, new amenities, plus an expanded packaging facility.... Delivered on time and under budget, our construction management approach assisted in the development of a very positive relationship with Sydney Compounding, and we look forward to more lab work to come!

Fast forward to today and we have successfully been able to deliver Stage 1 for our client Cerno Group. With signifcant structural enhacement works, asbestos mitigation strategies and many restrictions you would expect from a live retail environment, we are over the moon to have acheived a part occupation certificate while we now focus on refurbishing the rest of the store in Stage 2.
