22.01.2022 The Dederang Picnic Race Club would like to announce our committee for 2021. Firstly we would like to thank three outgoing members who are finishing their executive role terms. President Maurice Goonan, Secretary Alanna Kirley, and Treasurer Frank Lam have each contributed a huge amount of work to the club for over 10 years and their efforts are greatly appreciated. Maurice Goonan will now take on the role of Vice President supporting incoming President Marcus Goonan. Marcus ...and Maurice join Diane Goonan as Secretary and Brad Goonan as Treasurer. The committee has also welcomed some returning and some new members who will support the huge amount of work required to make our race day happen each year. With some positive news on changes to COVID-19 restrictions this week, the committee is well and truly focusing on ensuring a fantastic event for 2021.

18.01.2022 2020-21 PICNIC SEASON UPDATE: All picnic meetings from Saturday, 24 October (the scheduled commencement of the 2020-21 picnic racing season) up to and including Saturday, 7 November have been cancelled which will affect meetings at Alexandra, Healesville, Mansfield and Balnarring. Decisions on whether the picnic race meetings scheduled from Saturday, 14 November onwards proceed will be made closer to the date of each when more information is available regarding the ability of any crowds to attend and the COVID-19 case numbers at the time.
