25.01.2022 Sad but still happening. Scammers are still relentless in these hard times. They are still calling people pretending to be from Amazon (or Amazon prime) or your bank, saying that, you had a free month and now must pay a cancellation fee to stop the subscription service. THIS IS A SCAM! They then, somehow, get you to download TEAMVIEWER! Pleased don't do this. Just hang up. After the program is installed, they then have remote control of your computer. They ask you to proceed to your banking site/institution then, once signed in, empty your bank account!
