20.01.2022 Last Light near Adaminaby. There's something eye catching about lone tree images and in this case, the ever changing light and clouds lit the tree up beautifully. #snowymountainsnsw #snowymonaro #exploringaustralia #focusaustralia #australia #australia_shotz #depthsofearth #special_shots #earth_shotz #nature_sultans #nature #nature_perfection #newsouthwales #seeaustralia #aussie_images #ig_discover_australia #amazing_shots #beautifuldestinations #ourplanetdaily #awesome_earthpix #awesomeearth #picoftheday #landscapephotography #landscape #naturephotography #splendid_earth

19.01.2022 Peaceful and calm. That's what the Sapphire Coast normally is. Here at Pambula Lake, we are finding our Zen again.

18.01.2022 Living the dream at Bar Mouth Beach... We love the pastel tones of this image taken from Bar Mouth Beach. It really does feel a bit dream like. Imagine, not having a care in the world, sailing where the mood takes you, having the beach all to yourself. Yeah. One day

18.01.2022 This has been a rather dramatic start to 2020. It's actually really hard to put into words exactly what it has been like, not just for us but for such a huge part of our country. Of the first 14 days of this year we have spent 5 of them evacuated from our home. We do not have the capacity to defend it so our bushfire survival plan has always been to leave early as soon as warnings were made. It just goes to show though the devil is so often in the details. We knew we would l...eave early, we knew (sort of) what we would pack, but as we had never done a practice run we didn't know HOW we would pack the car or exactly where we would go if we needed to be gone for extended periods. To be honest it never occurred to us that we would need to be gone for extended periods because of bushfire danger. We are incredibly grateful to Deanna from the The Daisy Lounge for keeping us safe the first time. That's where we were when the sky turned black and the sun forgot to rise. We are also incredibly grateful to Jamie and Heather from The Peninsular Merimbula where we went the second time. You should totally have a coffee and toastie at the Lounge or book a holiday to Merimbula and stay at the Peninsular. Both hosts are amazing people. The Border Fire is still way too close to us for comfort but with predicted rain on the way we are hoping for the best. We are loving the sound of the water bombing helicopters flying over us. Not loving the smoke and ash. We are so lucky and grateful for the blessings and support we have been given. Our hearts go out to so many of our family and friends who have been devastated by these fires. We will be doing everything we can in the coming weeks, months and even years to help in the recovery efforts. For now, we are just muddling along one day at a time, solving the problems right in front of us and getting our feet back under ourselves. We are very grateful to those wonderful and understanding families who are waiting for the delivery of their photos. They are coming! Stay tuned everyone! We will be back with our beautiful landscape images soon. Despite the sheer scale of the devastation there is still so much beauty and we are just like our ancient land- resilient and strong. 17.01.2022 Waiting for the sun to come up at Mitchies Jetty. <3

12.01.2022 Some days all we need is to take a moment to be present, right here, right now. Not thinking about the busyness to come or all the things we did or didn't do. Just here. Breathing in. Feeling the sun on our face and the breeze caressing our skin.

11.01.2022 Merimbula's Boardwalk is a great place to start your day, as plenty of walkers, runners, people walking their dogs and photographers can tell you! As our winter sunrises have been a little underwhelming lately, we decided to try something a little different and take advantage of the sheltered nature of the Top Lake. You don't always need the sun in your image to make the best use of that gorgeous dawn light. With the light and tide just right, we think this worked out just right.

11.01.2022 Blue hour has a double meaning in winter. Firstly, it refers to the beautiful light you get before dawn, where the light is starting to take over over from night. There are still stars in the sky but long exposures capture that magical feeling of waking up. Secondly it refers to the colour you turn while standing still long enough to capture a long exposure in Pambula on a frosty winter morning

09.01.2022 It was such a pleasure to go and explore the Snowy Mountains recently- got to love that amazing snowfall. It was also a pleasure to get our cameras out for for the first time in what feels like forever! We hope you have been keeping safe over these strange and trying times. Our photography has definitely been on the back burner as we deal with life, the universe and everything. We will be back soon, sharing more of our favourite images of the Sapphire Coast and Snowy Mountains region.

09.01.2022 One of the most magical things about driving through the mountains is how fast the weather can change! We were really lucky to capture some amazingly fast changes in the light as we drove the Snowy Mountains Highway. It's our first time up there since the Black Summer, and it really hit us quite hard how much everything has changed. If 2020 has taught us anything though, it's that life is all about change and learning how to adapt when things don't go to plan

08.01.2022 We are so excited to be partnering with PuzzleMe and Merimbula Extra to bring you some of our favourite Merimbula images as jigsaws! Perfect winter entertainment. Pop into the store or call 6495 1292 to order. Be quick though they are selling super fast.

06.01.2022 We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Kianinny Bush Cottages for hosting the Sapphire Coast NSW Tourism Industry Vision Launch last night. What a night! So great to catch up with some people we haven't had a chance to talk to for ages and make some new friends. We learnt so much and enjoyed amazing food and drink from some awesome local providers. Check out Kianinny Bush Cottages at facebook.com/kianinnybushcottagesofficial/

04.01.2022 Sometimes simple is best for us. With the ever changing light darkening ominously, and a flurry of snow on the way, we kept this composition to just the sky, the snow and the trees. We hope you like it as much as we do!

02.01.2022 All the years we have been exploring the Sapphire Coast and Snowy Mountains regions and we haven't seen everything and found every hidden gem. Since the Black Summers bushfires have damaged so much of our area we have had to be extra cautious about the paths we take, but we take heart that so much regrowth is already happening. It may be a while till everything is fully healed, and the back roads are repaired but there is still so much beauty waiting around the corner.

02.01.2022 More blue hour goodness. We love this Merimbula icon- we honestly aren't sure what the proper name for it is, but we call it the Curvy Jetty. Does anyone know it's real name?

01.01.2022 Despite our rather dramatic start to the year, the Sapphire Coast remains one of the most beautiful and tranquil spots on Earth. Feel free to browse that beauty with our updated Landscape Galleries which you can visit here- https://tinyurl.com/ydx65n3h You can order something special for your wall or choose an image from our Stock Image Library. We do custom printing so just tell us what you need and we will do the rest.
