25.01.2022 Happy Wattle Day...and first day of Spring. We went on a wander around our block to discover the all the different types of wattle.

24.01.2022 Regular meditations can be a real ‘game changer’ in the way we move through our day. The intention for my online immersions is to support and motivate people to make space for meditation each day. I know so many people are struggling to live with anxious and busy minds right now. My next immersion begins on October 11th. I’m offering a complimentary code for those who may be in need (just shoot me a message) and please feel free to share this with anyone who you feel may benefit. Want to know more? Please reach out or click the link below. https://events.humanitix.com/whole-a-28-day-meditation-imme

22.01.2022 For those of you that live down the coast you are invited to join me for some Nature Bathing (guided nature connection) on Saturday beginning at 8am at Point Addis. The group size is limited so please register below. Some of you may know that along side meditation I have a great passion for the natural world. Saturday's event is the last of my guided 'walks' before I complete my certification to run Forest/Nature Bathing sessions. I look forward to sharing this special practise and all I have learnt with you. (We will adhere to all mask wearing/physical distancing regulations).

21.01.2022 Guess what? Group meditations are back FOR REAL LIFE. I’ll be offering 45 minute meditations at the cosy @bekindstudio in Jan Juc, every Tuesday at 6pm. This studio, run by the generous Sophia works on ‘pay what you can’ model to make classes accessible to all. I’m looking forward to sitting in this space every week and I hope you can join me.

21.01.2022 Note to self: an early walk in nature is essential to your sense of well-being.

20.01.2022 This morning I had the pleasure of guiding a group in some nature immersion at Point Addis. I love watching people slow down and connect with the natural world. When was the last time you gave your self permission to stand still and just take it all in with nothing else to do and no where else to go.

20.01.2022 Ladies, I was blown away by how quickly my Saturday morning women's circle in February filled . So I have just created a twilight circle for those who were unable to make Saturdays, held bi-monthly on Tuesday evenings at Desa Retreat, Jan Juc, the first circle is on January 12th from 7-9pm. In each session you can expect Dee to create a nurturing space and include guided meditation, reflection and sharing time, a good cuppa and homemade treats. When we take time out of our busy lives to remember what is truly important to us and share both our desires and fears with other women magic happens. Each circle in this series will be held at the Desa Retreat, 12 Ocean Blvd, Jan Juc. All 6 circles are open for registration now, you are welcome to join one, or dive deep and attend all 6.

20.01.2022 First meditation session back in person was an absolute joy. You can join me behind these beautiful wooden doors in Jan Juc every Tuesday, bookings essential through Sophia @bekindstudio

20.01.2022 TEND & BEFRIEND - a 6 week meditation workshop This series of meditation workshops will guide you to tend to your nervous system and befriend your mind. Registration for this event includes 6 meditation workshops. They are held each Tuesday evening from Feb 2nd to March 9th, from 7pm-8pm at Desa Retreat, 12 Ocean Blvd, Jan Juc.... Each one hour session, held weekly for 6 weeks will give you space to take time out from the demands of life and practise tools which help to calm the nervous system and observe the mind. When we take time to do these things regularly it can have a profound impact on our physical, mental and emotional health. In each session you can expect: *Teachings from Dee on how we can use meditative practises to enhance the quality of our life. *Guided meditations *Time to share and connect with others (the group size will be kept small for this sharing to be authentic and meaningful).

17.01.2022 Are you keen to experience some nature bathing? I spent this morning at one of my most very favourite places. I’m full of inspiration to guide the last of my ‘walks’ as part of my training as a forest nature therapy guide. These two-two and half hour experiences are a chance to immerse yourself in nature in a completely different way to being outdoors hiking/surfing/swimming. ... I’m hoping that our restrictions will have eased enough by the end of September for me to guide a small group (with appropriate distancing and mask wearing). If you would like to be part of it, let me know.

16.01.2022 I have one month left of training as a forest and nature therapy guide (aka forest bathing) and I have learnt so much about the natural world, our inherit connection to it and the benefits we get when we slow down and immerse ourselves in it. I am so looking forward to sharing it with you all. This is my calm and content face after 2 hours of bathing my senses in the bush.

15.01.2022 Morning light. The view from my sit spot this morning. A sit spot is a way of slowing down, finding stillness and connecting with nature. Very simple but hugely powerful, especially when practiced regularly. Find a spot in nature, plonk yourself down and observe. It’s ok if your mind wanders but if you feel your are thoughts running the show simply come back to what you are observing.

14.01.2022 During a time when many of us are struggling with feelings of disconnection and isolation, you are invited to be guided to connect with and immerse yourself in nature. Whether that be from a window, courtyard, backyard, the beach or the bush. By attending this event you are helping me tick one of the last boxes in my certification as a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and giving me valuable feedback to refine my practise. In return you have the opportunity to get a taste of what nature bathing is all about along with the benefits that come when we slow down and connect with nature.

14.01.2022 After listening to your feedback here is my first offering for 2021. BELONGING This series of 6 women's circles has been designed to support you in reconnecting with yourself, with other women and with the natural world. You can choose to come along for single sessions only or dive deep by committing to the entire series by registering for all 6 circles (each circle is listed separately on Humanitix).... In each session you can expect Dee to create a nurturing space and include guided meditation, reflection and sharing time, and a good cuppa and homemade treats. When we take time out of our busy lives to remember what is truly important to us and share our both our desires and fears with other women magic happens. Each circle in this series will be held in nature (location will be weather dependent but local to Torquay, you will be advised of the location one week out from the event). The dates are: Saturday Feb 13th - 10-12pm Saturday April 10th - 10-12pm Saturday June 12th - 10-12pm Saturday August 13th - 10-12pm Saturday October 9th - 10-12pm Saturday December 11th - 10-12pm Bookings made via Humanitix, feel free to message me any questions you may have.

12.01.2022 We are heading off on two ours of low tide bliss at Point Addis tomorrow. The weather is looking to be fine, possibly balmy and we will be mindfully connecting with nature in a whole new way. There is something pretty special about this practice of nature bathing and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you. Still some spots left. Shoot me a message if you have any questions.

10.01.2022 It seems I’m not the only one craving connection. There was a great response to my last post about women’s circles. I’m considering offering two options: Option 1: you reserve a place in a circle held and organised by me, this will be with other women you may not already know.... Option 2. I support you in establishing your own circle with a group of girlfriends. This would include an initial in person ‘training’ to lead a circle and then monthly meditations and reflections to use with your lady tribe. I would love to know which option you may prefer or if you have other ideas in ways I can support you to feel that sense of belonging.

09.01.2022 My next 28 Day Meditation Immersion starts in 2 weeks. Are you interested in joining this like minded group? Shoot me a message if you have any questions. The link to register can be found in the comments below.

07.01.2022 Belonging. It’s so important to our sense of well-being. A few years ago I was yearning a deep connection with other women. I reached out to a small group and we began meeting each month. We meditate together, share our deepest desires and fears, offer support, hugs and book recommendations, we drink chai and eat homemade treats. Most importantly we have created a space that is safe to be completely ourselves and to feel that we belong. I’ve been thinking just how important this is for me, for us. I’m feeling called to create some women’s circle events in 2021, held in nature to support these feelings of belonging to a tribe but also to deepen our belonging to place. If this is something you would like to be part of comment below or send me a message and I’ll keep you posted. @stephdierich

05.01.2022 15 quiet minutes, just me, a cuppa, a hose and my plant friends. To me this is a meditation, I go slow, I notice the sounds, I look closely and see new growth and flower buds. All is good in the world again. I can begin my day with calm connection.

05.01.2022 I invite you to stop scrolling, close your eyes and listen deeply to this gorgeous soundtrack of birdsong from the Ironbark Basin. I was out there this morning recording week 3 of my meditation immersions and it was so joyful I just had to share it here. Enjoy

05.01.2022 Today marks the end of my 28 Day Meditation Immersion. The feedback is starting to roll in, like this heartfelt message: 'What you have given me is a gift...The timing of your immersion was just perfect for me, I was obviously ready and open to find some calm, I just don’t have the words to express what a difference your lessons have made. When I feel panicked I now call your breathing into play and it has helped...I have found something with your help that gives me a sense of peace.'' If you would like to join in my next immersion check out the link below or send me a message for more information.

01.01.2022 With the easing of restrictions here on the Surf Coast I will be guiding a Nature Bathing session early on Saturday morning. This is for you if: You have been curious about what nature bathing is all about. You have been feeling disconnected from nature and others during this time.... You are craving some time for yourself away from the demands of day to day life. You love Point Addis and would like to experience it in a whole new way. As I am in the final stages of my studies as a Nature Therapy Guide and many people are doing it tough at the moment the pricing is a sliding scale. Please pay as you wish. Strictly limited group size and we will be adhering to regulations of mask wearing and physical distancing.
