25.01.2022 [SHARE] AMAZING VIDEO: Think they need a bigger boat? Orca whales are caught on tape chasing a speed boat in the Pacific and it's an awesome/scary sight to see! WOW, just wow!

25.01.2022 Wow people, first post for the year and it's almost November! What a terrific bunch for a crew today. Stamina like I have never seen before - drink till 3am then a few hours sleep and on the boat. Where's the Stamina? Two chuckers in the bar on the way out and one had a continual 6 hrs so nearly as good as Bathurst 1000 lol. Awesome effort and never winged once. Thank God it was superb conditions or who knows, I may have been the only bloke able to fish. 3 out of 5 was always... an excellent result in my exams at school I wreckon but after an extremely slow start these legends picked the baton up for their mates and cleaned up. Only 5 snapper but 3 were nice little trophies coming in at 60cm, 54 and 53. 38 and 33cm finished them off. On the edges we were bringing in some quality flathead averaging 43cm with the bigger one in low 60cm. In total 29 flathead made the fishbox, none of them requiring a measure except when they came in next to the biggens. A wonderful day and lots of entertainment provided by whales with calves, huge pods of dolphins and of course chucky lol. Thanks again guys, see you next year. Stay safe and until then, tight lines!

20.01.2022 Another terrific day on the water with a terrific crew led by an inspirational champion. Vito took relatives from Italy to Cairns for a drive and decided he better stop at Forster for the night to take then fishing. Nothing unusual you say? The thing is he is 87 years old and is a picture of health and a true gentleman. So couple that with local regular father and son team, Rod and Tom and no one could be happier. Our Italian visitors got it all with dolphins on the way out ...then two visits from whales and calf-amazing. Strong currents had us fishing heavy in shallow water but it didnt deter the crew who brought home snapper, mauri wrasse, nanygai, banded wrasse and flathead. Thanks for a great day guys, enjoy your catch. Glad you had a great time and planning your return already.

20.01.2022 I think someone's job might be on the line after this one.

15.01.2022 A few photos thanks to Kim GRANGER

15.01.2022 Well it has been a while thanks to the wild weather we have had but what a way to get back in the swing of things. Couldn't have asked for a better crew in trying conditions. Not only blessed with a great crew we were escorted out by a large pod of dolphins which was spectacular for all on board. Sounder lit up and first drop saw a nice snapper over the side but it was the only one of a legal size for some time. Not helped by strong wind and current we struggled to hold botto...m. A few more reefs, a few more snapper then onto the flathead grounds before heading in. Thankfully we managed a feed. I was getting worried, never want to go in with half a feed especially when we had a great mix of champions joining us. 3 snapper and a chinaman jacket was all we could manage off the reef but they were joined by 23 flathead with quite a few over 50cm. Thanks guys and girls, hope you enjoyed your day and the spoils of your efforts. Until next time, stay safe and well
