22.01.2022 Welcome back our year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students this morning! The sun was shining and it was so lovely to see all the happy faces walk through the gate as we kick off learning from school once again! We are excited to see how everyone has grown from this experience and put to use some of the wonderful new found skills we have gained from our Online Learning participation.

20.01.2022 FOUNDATION, YEAR 1 & YEAR 2 - RETURN TO SCHOOL Congratulations to the Deepdene community who have taken on remote learning over the last 6 weeks. It's been a big adjustment for us all but together we have achieved a lot and gained new experiences. We are very excited and happy to have the Foundation, Year 1 & Year 2 students returning to the classroom on Tuesday 26th May. School will definitely look a little different to the way it was before, so make sure you check Compass for further details on arrival times and your designated gate entry.

19.01.2022 CHANGE OF RETURN TO SCHOOL DATES As per Department of Health and Government decision, there has been a change of dates relating to the return to school. School holidays have been extended for an extra week from 13th to 17th of July. Term 3 will commence on Monday 20th of July.... We will be in touch again next week via Compass with further details on possible return to Remote Learning or the return to school as per DET guidelines. Stay safe and healthy and enjoy the extra week of holidays.

17.01.2022 As posted on Compass, our Xmas Gifts Fundraiser is up and running for 2020! After working out the logistics around remote learning, the PA have come up with a set of easy art activities that can be done over the school holidays. It’s a win win situation. The kids have something to do and you have Xmas gifts sorted for family and friends! Each child can create an individual artwork or you can collaborate on a group family design, which is a pretty unique and cool thing to do a...nd something we’ve not been able to offer in the past. It is more poignant than ever this year that gifts created by our children that mark the extraordinary year we are having can be presented as Xmas gifts to loved ones. It is definitely a year we will never forget! We hope your kids enjoy creating their masterpieces. We know they love seeing their designs come to life on physical objects! 05.01.2022 Our 2021 Foundation Transition is now complete with students and parents joining us onsite in small groups for a tour and introduction to Deepdene. Students also collected their welcome packs that included something a little extra special this year to help them feel excited about joining us here at school. Our planned virtual activity session can now be conducted indoors at school with number limitations. Future Foundation students will be able to visit the school and meet their 2021 teacher and class. Parents please stay tuned for updates via Compass.
