19.01.2022 What do you do to unwind ? I like to use floatation therapy as one of the activities I find helpful as a way to #unwind and #destress. Lying weightless in a pool of water with half a tonne of epsom salts allows the space to process my thoughts and to get space from the usual #sensoryoverload. What do you do to create space? 14.01.2022 So recently I have experienced some challenges with uncertainty and self-doubt at times. As a life coach, I have placed the expectation on myself that I need to have it all figured out and that I shouldn't experience struggle. Maybe that's just not realistic and as people, we continue to grow and evolve through overcoming struggle. What I have found really helpful is being honest with myself and accepting the challenges I experience. Knowing that I have access to strategies a...nd practices that helps me hit the reset during times of stress. Meditation is one of those tools which I have been able to apply to my life and really helps me do the "mental housekeeping" to sort my thoughts out. I have spent some time recording a number of practices that I find helpful and have uploaded them to Soundwise, an online sound casting platform. When we become triggered by interactions and circumstances, it is easy and often inevitable to fall into unbalanced relationship dynamics.
