10.01.2022 Our 3rd series of the year is dedicated to the handful of picture club cyclists & their calves of steel!

08.01.2022 Eyy yo! Tonight we'll be screening The Cyclist by Mohsen Makhmalbaf! Some #facts4u: as a teen the writer/director was imprisoned for trying to kill the king of Iran/end their dictatorship & he's feminist as hell, often telling stories about women's rights & supporting his wife and two daughters to also become successful filmmakers.... 6.30pm for a 7pm start! Popcorn, watermelon popsicles & post-film therapy fo free! Here is the very western* trailer**: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVynxFiJdHk * - not western at all ** - snippets from the film while music plays

08.01.2022 Hullo folks! It me again! This Monday we'll be kicking off our cycling theme with The Big Day (1949), the first feature film directed by the physical comedy wiz Jacques Tati! Wahoo! Very great! Haha!... The film is about a very inept postman trying to mimic Parisian/US postal service in his slow rural town while delivering aaaall the lols to our aaall of our faces. 7pm for a 7.30 start! We'll also be celebrating our picture club's first birthday! Our firthday! We made it! With popcorn! We're celebrating with popcorn! And exclamation marks!!

04.01.2022 BELLO! Tomorrow night we'll be screening the French-Canadian film 2 Secondes directed by Manon Briand! Wahoo! Bikes! Zoom zoom! A wonderfully garbage fellow by the name of Richard Cross writes that this film "tries desperately hard to be quirky and fails on every level". His garbage website that he made with his garbage hands also says that he writes his reviews with an "independent and unbiased opinion". ... Oh lord, he also refers to the female director as "he". If you would like to read this terribly biased review (and watch the trailer) pls click below: http://www.2020-movie-reviews.com//2-secondes-1998-movie-/ Ooh! 7pm for a 7.30 start in the Nauti sunroom! Lalala
