20.01.2022 What a day, and what a year.. to be recipient of the DBNSW 2019-2020 Administrator of the Year is just surprising, amazing and appreciated, amazing to be able to be awarded for something that you do because you love to see both its members and the Club grow in all aspects. Most members come along to our sport because they are looking for a new Sport to set goals or activity, something different, or just looking to fill a bit of space and build a new social network and to... know that we achieve all this for so many is so rewarding. The Sport of Dragon Boating is like no other and the more we can share this we will see the Sport grow and our community reap the benefits of what it provides Thankyou ! to Mark Cummings who sits (or sleeps) many a night while I do Club stuff, he supports and listens to me celebrate, whinge and see me shake my head at times (yes do, do that sometimes so don’t be disillusioned ) he is there supporting every step of the way. A huge thankyou to all at the Deepwater Dragon Boat Club for inspiring me everyday and every session we spend on the water xx now that was all a little mushy so lets move on quickly .......................... See you all on the water ! - Kathy Cummings
