25.01.2022 This master piece by Earth House Australia features rammed earth walls. By some accounts the use of rammed earth dates back well over 7,000 years, famously having been used in some parts of the Great Wall of China It has many benefits in building such as it being a non-toxic material with no volatile organic compounds or toxic fumes. It is sustainable and low maintenance making it a win for both you and the environment.

23.01.2022 A comparison between our BIM Isometric (3D) model and the erected steelwork for a project currently under construction. Our talented engineers have completed a lot of training in REVIT software over the last 12 - 18 months, to become well versed with BIM. Building Information Modeling (also known as BIM and often confused with 3D) improves collaboration between client and engineer allowing for a more efficient and clear design process. BIM is more like a graphical database with objects rather than lines on paper. Get in touch if you would like to know more.
21.01.2022 Another unique job we have recently completed was for the South Gippsland Shire Council. Designing the footings for some new play elements at Baromi Park in Mirboo North, ensuring they are strong enough to withstand kids running, climbing and jumping on them for many years to come
20.01.2022 Posted @withregram @hotondohomesinverloch L o v e.... L o v e......L o v e..... We’re thrilled to show you this additional stunning imagery of our HIA award winning kitchen design from @leongathakitchens... Well done on the award and this amazing kitchen with raked ceilings.
18.01.2022 When used in residential housing, structural steel replaces wooden frames with light-grade steel to create a stronger structure that will withstand many elements . The strength and versatility of structural steel allows architects to create masterpieces that would have previously been harder to build. In this home it has been used to create a cantilevered first floor and large glazing areas to open up extensive ocean views . Design by Adam Kane Architects Steel by @design_fabricate_build
17.01.2022 What a difference 12 months makes! A fabulous effort from all involved from the initial design to the construction and finishing touches, the finished clubhouse is a wonderful asset for the local community. And how’s the view!

14.01.2022 Posted @withregram Credit @huntingforgeorge The aptly named Kew East House designed by @jostarchitects is a new triple storey contemporary dwelling that aims to function as a multi-generational family home for the client’s teenage children, Timba the dog and older parents who frequently visit from overseas but will eventually join them permanently. The goal is to capitalise on majestic parkland views and to create a granny flat on the ground floor. See full tour via the link in bio! Sustainable Consultant: Energylab, build by @dickreynoldsbuilding, structural engineer: @deeryconsulting_engineers, by @zoso_studio
14.01.2022 Sometimes a job comes along that is outside the box, like the tree stags at The Cape Ecovillage in Cape Paterson. We were engaged to report on the current stability of the stags and to provide recommendations for future risk management. The stags are an essential part of the Ecovillage, which is an environment net gain project; meaning the site will feature more restored vegetation after the project is complete than existed before. The stags provide a temporary natural habitat for birds, with almost 100 recorded species onsite, including a number of endangered species, while the new vegatation has time to establish. 13.01.2022 We were happy to help Yvonne from Noah's Ark (right) spread some Christmas cheer to some very lucky children today. Hayley and her mum Stella were unable to attend the annual Special Childrens Christmas Party Melbourne which was cancelled due to COVID, however the organisers were determined to deliver the children their presents. Deery Consulting has supported this event for many years. Head over to their website to check out what they do www.specialchildrensevents.com

06.01.2022 This staircases just one of the many beautiful features we have engineered for this property currently being constructed by Piasente Constructions featuring a central steel stringer which supports the cantilevered steel treads and landing. Once topped with timber this gives the illusion from above of floating stairs. A beautifully designed home by Adapt Design Group we can't wait to see this completed home.
05.01.2022 What a view. Yes that is Eagles Nest in the background! A recent site inspection of this 3 storey home in Inverloch. The use of steel frames has allowed the owners to reach these great heights and achieve outstanding views. Steel really does allow for amazing results to be achieved. Currently under construction by Piasente Constructions and designed by DB Design - Wonthaggi
04.01.2022 The green light is on! Thanks Island Energy for helping us with our solar installation at the office. Now we just need the sun to shine
03.01.2022 Thank you for the kind words Tony and Lesley & Greg
01.01.2022 Paul Deery, our managing director, started Deery Consulting from a home office in Venus Bay 15 years ago. Since that time Paul has developed the company which has evolved to become a well respected structural and civil engineering consultancy firm. The company is now located in Inverloch and employs 5 engineers and an office manager. Paul still has a very hands on role working in the office full time, overseeing most of the designs and mentoring the engineering team. In his spare time Paul enjoys spending time with his family in their newly built Inverloch home , camping and riding his bike around the local area.
