15.01.2022 XMAS CARE PACKAGES FOR OUR DEFENCE FORCE WHO WILL BE SERVING OVERSEAS THIS XMAS Today Australia Post came over and picked up 107 Xmas Care Packages for our De...fence Force who will be serving Overseas this Xmas. What an amazing result with thanks to everyone who donated, wrote Xmas cards, filled out declarations, packed, taped up boxes addressed the packages etc . Usually I start this in August but this year was very different due to COVID. So within about 5 weeks we managed to have all this done. Thank you to everyone, there are too many names to mention. The generosity was again overwhelming. People are so generous and I believe this is because you all know that every dollar donated and every item donated goes into these packages. I think that knowing these packages go straight to our defence personnel is heartwarming. I have kept 6 packages that I will give to Military Brotherhood who will distribute these packages to our homeless veterans. The packages have some really good items in them, everyone of our Defence Force will have a packet of Tim Tams ( which apparently is a favourite) lollies, personal care items, protein bars, Bunnings stubby holders, footballs, soccer balls, t shirts, tuna, toothpaste, biscuits and a Xmas card, puzzles, card games and so much more. 12.01.2022 My lovely friend Andrea was also collecting items to be packed up, Andrea has packed a further 32 packages and has asked that they go to our total as that was why she was collecting items, hence we have a total of 145 boxes now. So very well done !! Thank you Andrea Lee Capewell xxx

10.01.2022 Xmas Care Packages for our Defence Force who will be serving overseas this Xmas. Thank you to Gina, Cathy and Deb. Yesterday we packed 88 Xmas Care Packages an...d they are sitting here ready to go. We have another 22 to pack. It was long day but the girls bought cakes and drinks and Gina fed us a beautiful lunch. Thank you guys for your help. See more
