16.01.2022 True it is that the Public Health Orders are in place to save lives. The role of the Defence Lawyer is not to defend the selfish and the foolish. Our job is to keep in check the very rights and freedoms that we all enjoy. People in this state deserve certainty and clarity in the laws that govern them. They also deserve a police force with guidelines as to how they enforce them. Be assured, if they overstep the mark, we will take the matters to court and have the judiciary decide what is lawful. So if police are concerned with their resources, they should exercise common sense and discretion before THEY initiate the legal process. @mardinidefencelawyers #defendingyou #covid

08.01.2022 BREAKING: Cardinal Pell acquitted by the High Court of Australia. All convictions been quashed and he will walk free today. Reasons - A jury, acting rationally on the whole of the evidence, ought to have entertained a doubt with respect to the applicants guilt. Furthermore; There was a significant possibility that an innocent person has been convicted because the evidence did not establish guilt to the requisite standard of proof (that is, beyond a reasonable doubt).

01.01.2022 We agree, ‘the laws were vague ...and left too much room for police discretion’. If you feel you have been unfairly issued with an infringement contact us immediately. Click on the link - www.defendingyou.com.au... #defendingyou
