13.01.2022 Scam Alert! If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the ATO advising you have not paid tax - please ignore this call. This call is quite confronting and alarming, but its in not legitimate. Do not provide any information or call them back. If you have any questions please feel free to call the ATO on 13 28 61 and report this as a scam.

12.01.2022 Do you have Insurance Held within your Super? Read This! From 1st July 2019, superannuation fund members with inactive accounts risk losing their insurance cover unless they opt in to retain their cover. Legislation to make this effective was finalised 14 March 2019. ... What does inactive mean and does this affect me? Inactive means your fund has not received contributions to your super in the last 16 months. Most funs have sent correspondence out giving you notice, but if you haven’t received or are unsure you can contact the fund or Definitive Wealth directly. What do I need to do? Legislation allows you to keep your cover but you must tell your provider and opt-in. This will ensure cover remains in-force.
