22.01.2022 Our North West Electrical division recently welcome Stuart Mathews to the team. Stuart is a Project Manager/Estimator who specialises in CCTV, AC, automation and communications and his skills will enhance our service provision in these areas. He worked for us, as a sub-contractor, on the recent Devonport Living Citys Paranaple Centre project and he did such a great job that Security Electronics and Networks magazine did a case study on the installations. 16.01.2022 A new guy turned up for work in Launceston this morning. Pretty quiet guy, doesnt say much. But he hates the heat pump.

16.01.2022 Recently we installed a new cooling tower for Tassal Tasmanian Salmon and connected it to an existing chiller. The process of pre-cooling the water is highly energy efficient and will reduce the running cost and the lifespan of the chiller.

10.01.2022 A steel truss, built by our Fabrication division and bound for Simplot in Ulverstone, is off to have a fresh coat of paint!

09.01.2022 Our Fire Services Manager Michael Heaton recently had a request from the Ulverstone Fire Station for help with trying to understand the different types of fire panels in workplaces. Michael offered to spend some time with some of the volunteer brigade members last week and set up several working panels in our workshop. Lo and behold ... four fire trucks and 25 personnel turned up at our Ulverstone facility!! The feedback from the group was positive, saying they learned a lo...t and now have the confidence to handle the panels in the future. As new recruits come through the ranks this will be a continual process, and TasFire Services have also indicated they are interested in this for their full-time employees. What has Michael got himself into? Luckily hes passionate about fire systems and fire safety. Additionally, the brigade members were given a tour of our building, to familiarise themselves with where our switch boards and solar panel isolations are situated. #justincase See more
