09.01.2022 After much deliberation, it’s with mixed emotions, that I have decided to close my restaurant, Deirdre’s. I am proud of what I have achieved, but circumstances change, and instead of racing around, I’d like to try to find a better balance. I would like to thank all my amazing customers, my fantastic staff, and the passionate producers, winemakers and businesses that have shared the journey with me. October 18th will mark five years since the restaurant opened, and the last da...y of service will be December 9th. Over that time I have had the absolute pleasure of serving the local Wimmera community and beyond, as well as the many visitors to our region. I’ve absolutely loved being a part of your weekends, dinners, celebrations, weddings, engagements, long lunches... I’ve loved that you have embraced my approach to dining... getting together, grazing, and enjoying each other’s company. I will miss you. The restaurant has established itself as a popular and loved venue and I would like to see this continue. I have an awesome space and site here and a fantastic opportunity exists for someone with a passion for food and wine to lease the restaurant. Please call or message me if you would like further information. I look forward to seeing you over the next few months, Deirdre.
