25.01.2022 Ever thought about making some garden beds for your garden, but didn't want the expense of having to buy all the timber for it? No need to, pallet timber is perfect for the job :) Here's a good example :)

25.01.2022 I mentioned in the previous post, http://bit.ly/previous_17Sep20, that there was a third part to this story, it's a third piece, but not like the others

25.01.2022 If you've never heard of 1080 baiting, or if you have & don't give it any consideration, then I would suggest reading this post. It's only a small part of the actual devastation the poison is causing & it's absolutely disgraceful & needs to be stopped. Other less costly & more humanely effective measures need to be put in place.

23.01.2022 The following is from the ACF (Australian Conservation Foundation)... "Starting today nuclear weapons are officially unlawful thanks to the landmark United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons coming into force. Remarkably, it is the first ever global ban on these weapons that threaten people and all living things. The story started here in Australia, in Melbourne, 14 years ago, when a handful of people founded the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Wea...pons (ICAN). Most of the people in the room were volunteers. One of them was my colleague and friend ACF Nuclear Free Campaigner Dave Sweeney. Together they have grown to become nearly 600 people-powered movements from more than 100 countries united in a call to end nuclear weapons. The Australian Conservation Foundation is proud to have been a partner from the start. Together they have won hearts and minds, and in 2017, the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. Now they have pushed for, promoted, and advanced a global treaty that bans nuclear weapons, just as chemical and biological weapons, and landmines are banned. Today's news, this incredible win, a ban on nuclear weapons, is a testament to what persistent, long-term people-powered campaigning can achieve. But this story is not over yet. 86 states have signed the treaty in endorsement, and over 50 states have shown great leadership by ratifying and committing to the treaty. Australia has not signed or ratified the treaty. Now is the time to change that. If you haven't already, sign the petition calling on our elected representatives to make Australia nuclear-free which includes ratifying the nuclear weapons ban treaty." Please share this to everyone you know on Facebook :)

22.01.2022 Here's the next lot of pics from http://bit.ly/previous_26Sep20 showing it to completion. It was actually designed by the customer to fit what he needed. You'll see why... :)

19.01.2022 A simple but elegant design for a hall table come TV stand, the pics tell the story :)

19.01.2022 As mentioned from the previous post, http://bit.ly/Caddy_1 here's a few more pics that'll make it a bit more obvious :) Following this post will be a little video showing how it all works :)

18.01.2022 Next in the process following on from https://bit.ly/previous_19Jun more comes together. The pics will provide a bit of an explanation...

17.01.2022 Here's more that belongs to the previous post https://bit.ly/previous_25Jul20

15.01.2022 As I mentioned in the previous post http://bit.ly/previous_12sep20 the finished result, well here it is :)

15.01.2022 From this post, bit.ly/VanBed_22Jan21, I promised I'd post a video demonstrating the van bed in action, well, it's taken me a little bit of time to finally getting to make this post, but here it is :) Most of the video, bar the animation sequence, was kindly supplied by the customer :)

13.01.2022 This should be used as an example in all cases where blanket poisoning of "wild dogs" is taking place

13.01.2022 Thought I'd add another little animation, this time showing the end result of the cabinet, stained and clear coated :) It's all finished in a Rosewood coloured stain and then several coats of Gloss clear.

13.01.2022 Something a bit different was requested this time around to meet the requirements of student accommodation. Keep following and watch it come together :)

13.01.2022 This is potentially great news members! The extremely ecologically and culturally sensitive land that Darkinjung Land Council wants to exploit for profit is officially registered as being of regional significance to our Koala populations! This certainly won't hurt our cause!

12.01.2022 We all know about Dingoes, or do we? I think you'd be quite surprised that there are more to Dingoes than just the ginger coloured variety I'm sure that most of us are completely unaware how human ignorance is once again responsible for the ongoing, and in the case of the Dingo, wilful destruction of yet another native species, subsequently causing major problems with biodiversity, balance of the ecosystem & then having to deal with other problems created as a consequence.... And I'm doubly sure that most of us aren't aware that the Dingo, as a native species, is not protected under federal law, in fact it's considered a pest across the country, which is something purely based on ignorance & a total lack of understanding. It boggles the mind that even in this day & age of so-called enlightenment humanity is still responsible for so much willing destruction of flora & fauna. We will ever get it through our thick heads that without the biodiversity of our flora & fauna we won't have a habitable environment for us to survive in?!

10.01.2022 Here's the last post following on from https://bit.ly/previous_3Jul2020 It was one of two cabinets for a customer enquiry to replace his old ones, which had started to fall apart. After searching all the furniture retail stores to find equivalent replacements he couldn't find anything suitable. He found us and commissioned us to make like for like replacements :) ... The second cabinet is slightly different with a drinks section, pics of that will be coming soon :) For now, check out the finished result. It didn't turn out too shabby considering it's all made out of recycled pallet timber :).

09.01.2022 Here's more further to https://bit.ly/previous_27July20 This time around is building another component of the job. The next post will show the whole thing coming together :)

09.01.2022 This is worth reviewing. it's the Draft Waste Resource Management Strategy by the Central Coast Council, you have the opportunity to have your say about recycling on the Central Coast NSW. Check it out here... https://www.yourvoiceourcoast.com/our-coast-our-waste

08.01.2022 Something a little bit different this time around. A customer had an old outdoor table on a steel frame that was pretty much rotten and needed a replacement. Good old pallets come to the fore again :)

08.01.2022 Sounds like typical corporate Psychopathy, there's only one thing that motivates them... money. Who cares about the welfare of the flora & fauna when it means standing in the way of making more money. And besides, the harm is not being done in their collective countries so why would they give a damn!? Corporate greed is the same in any country. My question is, apart from the damage they'll be causing if this goes ahead, why are we literally giving away the resources of our c...ountry to foreign interests? Where do you think the profits will go? They won't be going to Australians, those employed by them will be getting wages, but that's about it, the squillions reaped form this country's fossil resources will be going overseas. It just doesn't make sense to me to give away something that doesn't belong to them so they can get richer from it. You can almost guarantee the large portion of the wealth that could potentially be made from this won't be going to Australia or Australians. How much more of this country do we want to continue to sell off to foreign interests!? Besides all that, coal should stay in the ground and not end up poisoning the atmosphere even further, its the 21st century for God's sake!

07.01.2022 As I previously mentioned from https://bit.ly/previous_27Jun this job had two parts to it, well here's the second part...

05.01.2022 It's about time I posted an update to the page :) This project took on a bit of a life of its own once it was started :P It was a special request from a customer who was looking to replace something that was old and falling apart. He looked far and wide to find a replacement in all the retail stores without any luck. He then found us and following is the result... :)

02.01.2022 I've been a bit slack with some posts lately. There's been a few jobs happening in betwen the last post and now and this post is following on from https://bit.ly/previous_10Aug20, the display cabinet, this it's matching twin, but with a slight difference :) There's another third part to this story coming up soon too, it's quite a bit different to the first two parts though :)

02.01.2022 Just a few last pics of the cabinet in its final home. You can see why it was much needed :)

01.01.2022 Continuing from https://bit.ly/previous_22Jun you can see literally put all the pieces together now and it becomes clear what it is :) It was designed as a flat pack. It had to be transported to Bathurst where it has taken up residence in student accommodation :) But this is only the first part, the second part follows :)
